@@SuchaJerkCustomLures I'd use polyester resin as I said to TreysArt. It's far cheaper and you can still top coat with epoxy. He said he's going to try it. It goes off quick if it's warm and especially if you use more hardener but as you know, the slower it hardens just like epoxy, the stronger ( well with polyester resin it could get too brittle ), still strong unless you smash it against a rock. You can add finely cut chopped fiberglass strand for extra strength but I doubt you'll need to, I used to work with the stuff all the time. Get it wholesale if you can, so cheap you'll wonder why you haven't used it before now 😉
@@pa_maj.MARTINI-van-MAN I'm using poliurethane resin with extra glass microspheres for added bouyancy - it's also tooth proof and doesn't take water even if your top coat got damaged 🙂
@@SuchaJerkCustomLures I was checking the different resins out but they all seem expensive compared to polyester resin. I still have some in the shed. I might make a simple prototype, not for fishing but strength testing without fiberglass cloth. I don't think I have any bubbles/glass microspheres to mix in though as I can't remember if I got some the last time. I have epoxy resin as well, slow cure so I can still get a Good idea of the difference. I've repaired many a sailing and motor boat with polyester resin and fiberglass cloth with only paint to cover and protect. I still visit that boat yard and check out some of my work that I'd done and some work is fifteen years old, and most of those boats are still there and my work has still held up with no problems at all. They are boats that are kept in the sea/harbour for approximately six month of the year. I think 20kg of polyester resin I can get here for less than £70.00 plus hardener if I remember right, that was prices 2.5 years ago. I don't think you'll find any other resin as cheap but I could be wrong. You may even find it harder than I to get polyester resin as cheap as I can get it here, I don't know.

@@SuchaJerkCustomLures I don’t really fish saltwater that much so I don’t really know but I when on a 2 day trip to Brabant and caught some nice perch and a asp and tomorrow I’m going to de Biesbosch for a weak so hopefully I can catch some more perch, pike, zander and maybe even a catfish or barbel so I’m really exited for that.

@@shawnkiesel5349 It's a beech wood, hard mother f... to carve, but since I new I'll go with screw eyes I needed something strong 😉
Holy shit! When that hammer came down on that bait my heart dropped!
I don't remember that part anymore 😅 that was many lures and videos ago 😜
Where did you get that scale template?? Sweet!!
Thanks ☺️ I bought it locally in Poland from a CNC machinist 😉 they're not commercially available

I make such stamps for the shells ... I have several types and sizes of shells, please contact me, I will provide more information
Coming along nicely....swimbaits take alot of testing
Yeah, that's why I've made the silicone form, in case I don't have the weight right I can play around with the resin baits 😉
Impresionante amigo, eres un maestro!!
Muchas gracias ☺️
@jesus perez gomez se te subió el 🐱 al teclado? 😅
I'm glad to see you made a mould, it was a lot of work not to 👍
I'm glad to, but since I don't have good pike waters around for now I'm to cheap to use so much resin to make a second one 😅

Pierwszy raz użyta 😉 najpierw zrobiłem łuski w zła stronę 😜 ale działa elegancko 👌
I hope the lure action is good😁
I do hope so too 😃 I get some suggestions about the weighting of the lure from more experienced swimbait builders - so 🤞 will swim right 🤔

Hello, where Did you find the pattern plate for the scales ?
Hi, it has been made locally by my budy on CNC machine, at his workplace. Not available commercially
