I loved the 55 in this movie when I first saw it, the flames shooting out the back have always made me want to do that with my own Hot Rod 36 GMC to help with the scary factor!
The coolest car.. you will steal the show everytime you come around and the 3 guys fit perfect they were so cool and they laugh was menacing cool...one of my favorite child hood scary pictures and still love it now."He's a tough guy he ain't scared of anything"
Why these evil spirits think by going back to same place where they passed away for a different out come yet some how repeat the same mistakes like last time 😅😅.
@@christophermay4366 In 1991 55's were still abundant and cheap. I can guarantee they were all real cars they used, even the ones that got blown up by the train
Love this car i would like to build one just like it my favorite movie Stephen king did a good job on this one and that train scared the shit out of me when i frist saw it.
Ya know, as cool and sinister as that car is, am I the only who thinks it should have be a different car? Cause unlike King’s other iconic killer car i.e. Christine, the 1955 Chevy was a car that not only was well celebrated in the car culture but it also had 2 famous movie appearances. Those being Two-Lane Blacktop and American Graffiti. I say the car should’ve been something like; a 1950 or 1952 Buick, a 1955 Olds or a 1959 Dodge. These are just my own opinions, fill free to tell what you think would be a good alternative.
What is that front Grill from, It can't be from a 55 Chevy as I have not seen any pictures online of one with that front grill, anyone know what that grill is from?
Back then, even in the 80’s when this was shot and especially not in the 60’s metric tire sizes weren’t common at all, the closest thing to a 275/50-15 would have been a G60-15 sized tire but even so there’s no way….a G60 is 11 inches wide and a 275 is almost 11.5 wide, those would stand out like a sore thumb…
I like the grill. It makes that 55 look sinister! Also the lions growl added in to the exhaust note is pretty cool
I love Stephen kings choice in cars so much.
Found this on DVD years ago for cheap at Target. One of my favorite movie cars of all time.

Did you end up doing it? They make flamethrower kits, probably not street legal, but for a show car it's all good.
I do too the flame throwers are sick! Did you end up doing it?
Sexy 1955 Chevy from some times they come back. Wish I had that car
My Uncle's dad owned a 1956 Chevy Bel Air similar to this after he gave away his Studebaker.

This movie was one of my favorites growing up. However I would absolutely love a remake, just like IT
Hell Bat it was filmed in my hometown I might eventually make a short film or something as a follow up
This movie made me fall in love with the 55.
I have 1 of those 55's.they made some scenes in Joplin Missouri around the Rock island railroad awesome movie
you is LUCKY guy, congratulations this car is AWESOME !!! GOD bless !!
Forsale?
Pics????
Hell yeah one of my favorite movie car's
“We’ll be doing a lot of stunts in that ‘55, should we update the suspension?”
“Nah, the stock coils and rear leaf springs will be fine…”
I remember watching this on tv in the 90's.
I remember that but i watch it in the 2000 times
This movie was filmed in my hometown!!
Logan Linard is the roads burned up by the 55 Chevy exhaust ? 😂
Come on now, iv'e owned 2 of those 55's in my lifetime & i ain't never once had 'em act like that, allthough the flames, were, cool!
Sold to be Diers you must of had the 6cly model
Thats cuz u never seen a ghost driving.
How do the 55s go? Lotta work steering that beast
That's cause this car is custom made and not a replica 55 like yours. Only Greasers would know.
@@christianhernandez6920 "Replica"??? Urine iddy yacht
That 55 could not be any cooler
love it two lane back top hell never thought I was ever going to get to see it aging bad ass 55checy she is fast ass

I loved this movie!!
THIS IS THE BEST OF ALL RIGHT HERE 1955 CHEVROLET 150 REAL MEAN
91? dam that 55 was vintage even by then
highoctanefiend probably wasn't an original 55....they make reproduction one's....many movie car's aren't real
@@christophermay4366 In 1991 55's were still abundant and cheap. I can guarantee they were all real cars they used, even the ones that got blown up by the train
That 55 is siick!
I fear this car more than Christine because I saw this when I was a kid.
Well, Christine doesn't growl and snarl or produce flames.
Christine would eat that Chevy for lunch. No problem .
The 55 is better
You really believe that?
I feel like they'd more likely make car love than anything.
I expect all the villains & the car to have a mustache that they would twirl.
Of course, normal people run to the side, jump a fence, whatever it takes. Only in films do they try to outpace a vehicle down the middle of the road!
Toughest car ever built!!!!
An Imperial might have something to say about that.
Back then cars were like that, My grandpa owned a 1978 Monte Carlo and it was built tough as nails
Love this car i would like to build one just like it my favorite movie Stephen king did a good job on this one and that train scared the shit out of me when i frist saw it.
I love this 🎥 part two sucks bad nothing like this one.
Imagine if the 55 sneezes when belching fire from the exhausts like Snot rod
Great.... another movie I have to rent.
Jack Watters it’s on TH-cam somewhere. Honestly not worth renting. The Chevy is the best part.

I don't know these cars well but a henry j car would have been cool, put some work on it and it would easily be evil looking
I saw a 1951 Buick road master in cuban colors
When being chased by a car while on foot, ALWAYS run down the middle of the street.
Well you don't want to kerb the rims .
Sometimes they comes, takes own shadows within. - Books.
Never seen or herd of this movie. hoping I can find it online .
Ben Jardine its kings, Sometimes they come back.
It's on TH-cam , I just saw it !!
This was one if the most difficult cars to build in forza
Why?
Its not a 150, it has front and rear window moldings
This MFn car is the thing of my nightmares! Absolutely sinister. If I even saw this in person at a movie car museum I wouldn't go near it.
Is it preserved? Most old movie cars got scrapped.
2:32 is the cause of that roar/growl-like sound from the muffler or special effects?
that was the from the car, they X-Piped the exhaust with a resonate delete and muffler delete and sounds like catless headers were installed on aswell
@@ArekThorne that car never had cats since it's a 55.
I seen almost all the 90s movie but This one I haven't seen Love the car tho it's awesome
No you bloody did not, not a single human has seen "almost all the 90s movies". How many movies do you think were made from 1990 to 1999? A LOT!
Sad to know that the 150 was only made for 4-5 year’s, could’ve had so many opportunities as a movie car like this
They changed the name but there was always a base model Chevy.
@@mexicanspec Right as usual Mr. Spec.
Bad ass car but bet it really goes through gas since it's running so rich to throw the flames
The exhaust might not have come through the engine. it is a movie prop after all.

Well it’s probably custom made , not original
Why do the run in a straight line ?

The wheels?
