Hello beautiful artist! I am so happy that I have discovered your amazing tutorial today! I love your painting style and also love this painting with all the different and sweet rabbits!❤You have quite a talent with watercolour painting! I am just a very beginner, but I recognize the beautiful art one can create in so many ways. I look forward to your next video. Thank you. Helene
A lovely, soothing video to begin my week with. Thank you so much! I have an old watercolor table easel that I’ve never used, and I’ve never painted a rabbit in my life, so two new experiences to look forward to!
Hi, I love watching you. You’re paying are so interesting and I know that you like watercolors and so do I I mean they look so realistic, especially when you can add water and and then spread it out in a spinner oh my gosh it’s just beautiful. I watch you all the time, I love the paint brushes that you use. I’m learning a lot from you. Thank you so much. God bless Kittie.
This really makes my heart happy! You are such an amazing talent Fiona! Six months ago I decided I was going to start painting every day. I hadn’t painted for six years due to medical issues. I’ve been painting now every day for six months and I have decided to continue on this journey. I’ve also decided as a Christmas gift to myself I’m going to join your Patreon. I believe I can learn a lot from you. I wish you and all of your followers a very blessed holiday season ❤
Thank you so much and that’s fabulous. Between recorded tutorials and our live sessions ( which are also recorded) you’ll have plenty to do! A very blessed holiday season to you! Fiona ❤️
I look forward to your videos. They are so inspiring and informative. I have a thing for white bunnies (not sure why) although I have only tried once. After watching this I want to give it a try. Your art is so beautiful. Thank you.
How do you keep your pencil markings from getting into the watercolor ? What kind of pencil do you use ? I loved this video ! Bunnies are so sweet. You have captured their soft texture so beautifully. All of your watercolor pieces have your signature soft quality. Lovely 🥰
@@katherineelizabethco hello! I use an H2 pencil. It never smears at all, if anything it can get a bit lost under the layers of paint. Don’t use greasy pencils. That’s all. Also you can use clean water as a first layer and then let it dry to “seal” the graphite in. Fiona x
I do look forward to your video on Monday mornings. As soon as someone says woodland animals I'm transported to my childhood dreamy days. I only spent 6 years in England but I think I always gravitated to English themed books and shows, it's so far from the hot harsh country of Australia even though it's just as wonderful and magical. Extremely hot as Xmas arrives and I struggle to find a cool quiet moment to draw and paint, so I dream of childhood days through videos like yours ❣️
@@jackygann594 I can quite relate to that. I am sure your years in England were a big influence. It’s strage to immagine a Christmas in summer ! But fascinating
@drawingsinadrawer yes I grew up having hot very English Xmas lunches under an air con, now it's usually a mix of seafood, salad and ham with chicken. Morning and evening swims between the UV worst times of the day and sleepless nights under fans to try and keep cool. Xmas Australian style then boxing day is leftovers and the hot sand dancing to get to the water (if you know you know) beach umbrellas and hopefully a good day at the beach ⛱️
Raw sienna as a base colour, then an orange ( over the raw sienna when it’s dry and don’t cover it up completely) then a layer of a darker red for the shadows, Indian Red or English red. Fiona x
I did join Patreon and facebook group. I am watching the replays of live sessions. Waiting to get some better brushes and paper. I haven’t tried doing anything except for simple landscape and just playing around with abstracts in small sketchbook. I really enjoy your videos and I hope to get to painting something more interesting soon!!
That’s lovely to hear! You can start by joining our sketching session on Friday and our co-painting Christmas party on the 23rd. Plus ease yourself into things by looking at the watercolour consistencies and composition tutorials in the folder Tutorials to Start off With at the top of the page on Patreon . Fiona x
@ I just checked what time the sketching sessions begin. 10:30 am my time. Normally not a problem however my grandchildren are on break from school for these next 3 weeks and I will have them with me. I will continue watching the recordings and join you guys live when school resumes for them.
