INGREDIENTS:
For Boondi:
* Gram flour (बेसन) - 1.5 Cup
* Water (पानी) - little less than 1.5 Cup (1.5 कप से थोड़ा कम)
* Baking soda (मीठा सोडा) - 1 Pinch
* Tandoori colour (तंदूरी रंग) - 1 Pinch
* Oil (तेल) - For frying
For Laddoo:
* Sugar (चीनी) - 1.5 Cup
* Water (पानी) - 1.5 Cup
* Cardamom powder (इलायची पाउडर)
* Saffron (केसर)
* Melon seeds (तरबूज,खरबूज के बीज)
RECIPE:
In a bowl,take some Gram flour, put Water in it gradually & make the batter of flowing consistency.Then put a pinch of Baking Soda & a pinch of Red Food Colour in the batter & mix them well.Put some hot Oil in the batter & make Boondi with the skimmer in the heated Oil.
For Sugar Syrup,take a pan,put Sugar,Water,Cardamom Powder,Saffron & make sticky Sugar Syrup then turn the flame slow & put fried Boondi in it.Mix it well,cover it & cook it for 2-3 mins.Then put some roasted Melon Seeds & chopped Pistachios then bind the Laddoos.In this way, Halwai Style Boondi Laddoo will get ready at home.
