Got a kid I'm going against states in and throws a 65'9". I'm in Michigan. His name is Dylan Taggart, and he is a junior. Absolutely destroys everyone.

Shot has be held on your neck b4 you throw, the shot needs to land inside the sector lines, the shot has to be 12 lbs for boys 4kg for girls, anything you take in the ring other than the shot must stay in the ring until the shot hits the ground(for instance if you where a hat the hat cannot come off and fall outside the ring), and you have to exit the back of the ring under control after the shot hits the ground.
spud man there are 15 year olds who are good enough to get to state, and if you are 19 as a senior, that means you got held back a year, which I think makes you ineligible for high school athletics

Wisconsin was more competitive. Now, why TH-cam showed me Wisconsin D1 State a month ago and Ohio D1 State today, that I have no idea. They haven't queued any other high school state meets for me.

i think you have to have it above your shoulder and below your ear
You can’t exit the circle until the shot put lands. This is the only set rule. All the other rules change for every meet

Some big lads here at high school then I remember unlike the uk where high school boys are 16 or under these can be a little older

These kids don't appear to have much strength or explosiveness in their movement or delivery.
