- Father Luke-Mary shares stories about the year he spent Christmas in Bethlehem.
He taught some kids how to play Silent Night on flutes they were trying to sell with little success. But once they started playing that song, the flutes quickly sold out. People wanted to have something that reminded them of the reason for the season - Jesus.
Father also shares how the cave where Jesus, the Lamb of God, was born was likely also the place where many lambs were born.
It’s as if God had planned everything out even to the most minute detail since the beginning of time.

The door of the Church of the Nativity is actually called "The Door of Humility" it is definitely a reminder to keep our pride outside and bow our heads to come to Jesus as children.

Amazing! The introduction to Silent Night is the only thing I can play on a flute :-) And I am glad this little melody was able to make a difference on somebody's life. God bless you, Fathers. I love the prayer about being humble. .. I once met a num so humble and gentle at heart that seeing her did remind me of Jesus, every time...

Thank you for sharing this beautiful story. My prayers lead me this year to the thought that the birth may have been announced to many more than just the Shepherds. With the business of the times, the census and everything, others were not quiet enough to hear the announcement. It is important to take time to be still and listen and hear, really hear, what God is telling each of us on our journey.

It is forbidden to us the lebanese to go to the Holy Land , due to the non stop conflit with Israel
I wish this war will end the soonest possible and that we will all become brothers and sisters in Christ as it was from the beginning; God created us all United , we have broken this unity because of lack of humility!!!
It is each respectful person's right to go on pilgrimage to the Holy Land, included those who are not Christians and the unbelievers , because I am sure that they will convert by the power of the Holy Spirit once they will step on this Sacred Place.
