The whole album is freaking awsome. One of my top 10 metal albums of all time. Should listen to An Ocean Between Us all the way thru
10/10 one of the greatest albums I’ve ever heard. Own the CD and I want to get the vinyl.
I'm a year late but anyway, for what its worth I absolutely loved that album. AILD is awesome
If you've just discovered their discography your in for a treat. AILD is a band that doesn't disappoint.
The sound of truth and anodyne sea are killer tracks as well
The whole album is like this such a master piece. An Ocean Between Us from first to last song is pure gold.

If u like the thrash elements of this song u should check out Tim's side project Austrian Death Machine. In one of you guys other video i noticed u had on a Suicidal Angels shirt on i really like them. Another good Brazilian Thrashers Terror Squad the song Architecture of Pain. Such a crazy song coming from a metalcore band.. And yes, they did and do play that live, same tempo and everything.. it's badass !! an ocean between us is probably a masterpiece or a classic metalcore album..or both..
The Sound of Truth!
Hahahaha! I was in front row barricade when they played this song on the Shaped By Fire tour in Europe last year, and let's just say it was crazy. I wanted to get it on video soo bad, but in retrospect I'm glad I put my phone away for this song :D

In the beginning of the song it sounded a little bit like thrashmetal, some might not agree with me, but that is my opinion.

At that time a lot of metalcore bands were adding a bit more thrash riffing. I remember there being a "thrash" themed tour that didn't have any proper thrash bands on it. Kinda funny
I honestly think they have at least one genuine thrash song on their albums. This album, An Ocean Between Us, probably has 3. Fucking love this band.

As far as the saying "the best apology is changing your behavior" goes, Tim has really been putting much effort in his new life, even if it will never fully wipe away the past. Between mending relations with the band members that he had broken long before the murder-for-hire case, and doing youthwork with addicted youth, I can honestly say he's making an effort to repay his past transgressions!

This is metalcore mixed with trash metal so trashcore.Indead ocean between us is their best album
Not a fan of these guys cuz the singer tried to hire a hitman to kill his wife... just not cool and definitely a buzz kill for me... oh well... this song kinda generic and i heard these riffs and everything a million times before... pass.... good job reacting tho...
