Sometimes I lose motivation yes, especially with having 3 to look after and ride as well as working as a groom it can be very tiring, but I try to just push through as well as I can and I’ve always managed to come out of the other side! I couldn’t imagine my life without horses xx
Can I ask is there any significance of you wearing different colour show jackets when riding Mary and Brian?
No not at all! I just randomly choose which colour to wear on which day! Usually it depends which saddle pad I’m wearing, but at hickstead it rained quite a lot so if one was wet I used the other 😄

Can you not lodge a complaint to the organisers about the state in which you (and perhaps others) found your stables in upon arrival? Just asking.
