Currently I'm using a Big Berky. Would you recommend filtering the water in a BB to remove the crap, and then putting it into the copper?

Hello Scott, thanks for reaching out with your question. Filtering your water and then putting it into the copper is a great idea. As a matter of fact, I'm headed down to the shop next week to work on our own Gravity feed water system with some very nice Ceramic/Charcoal filters. Copper vessels on top and bottom. We're going to start out with a 2 gallon version.
