Hi, sorry for late reply, I had some works to do now I am here!😃
I had my VISA interview in US embassy in Nepal
I applied for F1 visa, I had really good academics!
I had 9.3/10 cgpa and good English proficiency with 7.5 in IELTS as well, so I guess my academics played a vital role during my interview!
I was asked about 4 questions
      Why this university?(Webster university)
Why this major?(My major was biology)
      Who are your sponsors?(parents)
What are your future plans?(working in the field of health and medicine)
I was really confident about my intentions to go to United sates and that is to continue my study, I mentioned the academic aspects of my degree and provided the abundant information about my university that would really help my major! I was confident and I made my VISA officer believe in me!
As I wanted to be a health and medicine specialist I had chosen biology major with special emphasis in health and medicine, I exactly mentioned him about my idea and he immediately gave me a good response from behind the window!
I had about $23,000 to pay and I said that my parents will pay for my studies, I mentioned their profession and income & the collective income from my parents was $38,000, I didn’t lie I had all of the documents present with me in the embassy! So he believed me!
I mentioned about the deprived health and medicine services in my country Nepal, as I am studying biology with health and medicine emphasis, it would really help me to gain wide range of knowledge and while returning back to my home country I would look forward to work in these sectors!
I was confident with all of the documents present, I made good eye contact with my VISA officer!
He knew I was confident, I smiled in each and every answers I presented and he smiled back to me!
I deserved my VISA and he approved it! I did it so do others can !just be genuine and confident about your case!

I'm a bit confused. Let's say I applied for a visitor visa back in 2012, around 12 years ago. At that time, I was just a student with no job and weak ties to my home country, which were the reasons for my rejection. Now, in 2024, I have graduated and have held a stable job since 2018, amounting to 6 years of professional experience. I've also applied for an MS degree. My question is, should I be concerned that I was rejected before, even though my circumstances have completely changed? I hope this question will be helpful to many.

Please! Can this be a problem, if let say your i-20 states that you have an Uncle that will be your source of funding, including a loan secured, and during the interview session you're asked "How will you pay back the loan while in school?". can you say part of the loan which covers your living expenses while in school would be used to pay the loan interest including personal funds from you, whilst the claimed personal funds was not stated on the i-20 but you carried the claimed personal funding bank statement with you to the interview session, without stating in your explanation to the consular that your uncle stated on your i-20 will also help pay part of the loan, in a way to take full responsibility of paying for your loan interest?

Hello! I had my VISA interview (Location: US Embassy Manila) last week and got rejected. I plan to book another VISA interview appointment this week on the same location, is that a red flag?

She kept asking about my sponsor, I think 4 times and then typed something on her computer for awhile and rejected me. Is a “family friend” not a good candidate to be a sponsor?
