- Since some of us are heading back to the office I’m hoping this will be helpful. In this video we'll be trying on some blazers and trousers from Aritzia, & Other Stories and more. There's also some work outfit ideas and office looks with these pieces mixed in with existing items in my wardrobe. Oh, we're also bringing back some vegan leather to try. Side note, ignore some of the mismatching/less than ideal combos. I was trying to have things on that would be easy to get in and out of while trying the blazers to get this video up for you. Enjoy!

This video is super helpful and the side-by-side comparisons (esp for the different shades of gray) are very much appreciated!!!! 🥹🙏 As a petite girl myself, I’ve find it so difficult to find blazers and dress pants that fits my frame well, doesn’t require a whole lot of alterations and isn’t too oversized where I look like I’m drowning in it.
I’m so happy you found it helpful!! I completely get it! Minimal alternations are ideal and finding things that have an intentionally oversized look isn’t the easiest for short girls!

Since we are both petite I thought I’d share my go-to blazer which is Designer Remix Girls kids size (I think you’d be size 14! - go by your height) Size 12 for me (5”0) is my PERFECT fit.

Hi for leather skirt, I knew you tried patio midi in another video. Would you prefer pegu to patio? Is the slit from Pegu too high when you sit down? Thank you.
It depends where/when I’m planning to wear the skirts. Patio is more flirty for going out, the slit is higher up the leg and pegu is just a tad more modest. I didn’t try sitting in the pegu skirt so unfortunately I can’t comment on how high the slit would have gone.

Nope not at all. I mean not in most offices anyway. I just like the way they look under blazers hah! Although I guess someone could keep the jacket buttoned up and then have the option to unbutton after work for a flirty look.
Did you keep anything that you purchased from Aritzia or did they all go back? It seems as though you’re looking for a perfect fit in your items but because you’re petite it seems reasonable that you would have to do some alterations. For example,
go up a size in the pants so they don’t pull at the hips but get the waist altered. Petite girl problems. :)
Yup, I kept a pair of pants and debating if I should keep one of the blazers. I’m a lot more selective when it comes to deciding what to keep and I agree that alterations is a short girl’s best friend but some things just aren’t worth altering imo. This video is also meant to act as a reference point for other girls who are considering these items before they take the plunge :)

Like you, I am quite petite. And was wondering if you find the XXS still quite roomy and long? I’ve heard that this blazer can swamp petite gals and would love to hear your opinion!

Hi! Yes! The agency at least the “new” agency blazer is quite long. However, if you’re thinking of wearing the blazer with a short dress or bottom then the extra length is great for coverage. I personally wouldn’t recommend the blazer to be worn with wide leg pants like the effortless for girls with a petite frame unless you’re aiming for an oversized street style look. That being said, you can opt for higher heels or platforms to add some height and tailoring the sleeves would be a must in attempt to make it look a little more chic. Generally speaking though, not a blazer style I would recommend for my petite ladies!
