    Great video, I haven't seen anything on hyper miling for a while. This used to be a massive thing when cars only had 50 miles range in the winter and rapid charging stations were rare as hens teeth. Now, not so much. It's good to know what affects your range for a scenario like a broken charging station where you have to eek out a little more than expected but honestly hyper miling is generally something I d say is a thing of the past.

    Thank you so much for doing this series of videos. I think it's been a long time needed. Whether it's for people thinking about buying an EV or people already with an EV, there's something there for everyone.

    Excellent advice for a dinosaur like me who hasn't taken the EV plunge yet. Keep up the good work Grace, we need sensible stuff like this to inform our decisions. New subscriber.

    You see, if you need to go forward use the accelerator pedal, whereas if you need to stop use the brake pedal

    Are you going to release a video about how to charge if you don't have off to parking EG leaving a midterest house

      That is so easy, just go to your local Rapid or Destination chargers and plug in, I have been doing it for a year with my EV's :) I charge whilst shopping or at work.. or doing other stuff..

    Is there anywhere where I can get answers with respect to owning a vehicle, charging etc, at present I can't afford to buy one just yet but I would like to know what I will need, I'm not a tech type person, I've even had to get someone to do this for me, I'm one foot in the grave and haven't had to use computers and technology phones, I'm very basic

      Don’t bother learning, if electric cars do end up taking off it will take a very long time. The batteries and charging are still not fit for purpose

    • @andrewgage6942
      @andrewgage6942 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jwgti2314 I'm just hoping that it won't be so complicated as it is now, I'm happy to carry on doing things as I do, but as my old car is racking up the miles, once the warranty runs out, I would look at changing, at present the infrastructure in the vicinity of where I live is pretty poor and it still works out very expensive to run an electric vehicle hence I've stuck with the old faithful diesel which still returns close on 80mpg even when driven hard(ish), you can't really drive it too hard, an 800cc diesel

      your complain about driving on the left-hand side. Big deal-get over it. Consider what real first-world problems look like, or perhaps you simply have too much time on your hands to complain incessantly. You're one of those whingers.
