@@Rainz_00 bruh. xbox has Y on the top, X on the left (while ps has it on the bottom). it has A on the bottom and B on the right. There's a lotta difference when you actually start playing with a ps controller and the game shows xbox buttons

Hand to Hand Combat is simple. First thing, don’t press R2 to punch, you will always pull out your gun even if you have fist selected. Now the Basics:
Hold L2 to lock onto your opponent
Press Circle to punch
Hold Square to Block Attacks
Tap Square Before they land an Attack for a Quick Stun, Allowing the Chance for a Small Punch
Hold or Tap square while moving to Dodge their Attack, giving you the Opportunity to Counter them.
Press Circle Right before an Attack Lands for a Big Counter. (Kinda Hard to do BTW)
When you Punch them, you can Press Triangle to then Grapple them, the options are has follows:
Triangle to Choke/Kill
Circle to Punch
Square to Throw
To Throw, make sure you hold the Left Stick either Up, Left or Right, then press Square in the Grapple.
Keep an eye on your Stamina, when you hold Square to block it will quickly deplete your bar.

General tips…
1. Find a trapper for those legendary pelts to make unique clothing, also beware that if you lose unique legendary pelts there’s no getting them back unless you have a save file.
2.Regularly clean your weapons.
3.stock up on tonics and health items at the general store or find them in the world.
4.when a world event is happening, you can expand your minimap by pressing down on the D pad to make finding it a bit easier.
5. When you are in gunfights the reticle shows you a transparent circle around the white dot, this indicates how accurate your shots will be. Spamming the trigger will make your shots very random, while pacing your shots will give you more control and accuracy.
And general control over the weapon can be improved at a gun store or by buying or finding a better weapon.
afaik if you lose a legendary pelt it automatically sells it to the trapper

You don't need to kill the witnesses. You can simply press triangle to "stop witness".
Also, to check your honor, press the D-Pad button. It also shows you the time of day, your money, etc.

The debt missions are specifically made, so that you can feel how cold-blooded the debt missions and Arthur can be.

All legendary pelts can be sold at the trapper marked on the map with paw symbol. Other normal pelts can be donated to Pearson to craft and upgrade your satchel or camp accessories. Since you lost the legendary pelt, you can still go to the trapper and craft it. The only thing lost is the value to sell it to him

K so basically the backstory is:
You run with a cool outlaw gang, you rob a ferry, it goes bad some members die, the rest of the gang is hunted down by lawmen and bounty hunters and then the story starts in the cold mountains

A style for Arthur I'd recommend is a stubble beard with long hair.
There's special clothing in every town's store. Valentine doesn't have anything good as far as I know, but later on when you progress the game, I'd really recommend checking out the stores for clothing. Also, you can make your guns like FIRE with all the customization options at the gunsmith.
The shotgun chaps are fire tho

Yo Jetro you can sell skins and craft clothes and equipment at the trapper. The trapper is normally in the wilderness you can't really find him in towns. Also when you kill a legendary animal you get a trophy from them and you can craft a special trinket or talisman at a fence that will permanently increase your stats. And another thing, this is not GTA. You don't have all your weapons at all times, so i advise you every time you get off your horse to select your loadout just in case you get into a shootout. And a last note lookout for stranger missions (side quests) most of them can be found in the surrounding area and towns of your camp.
Spending some time at camp really helps getting to know all the gang members better.
Just try and greet some people at camp, there's a lot of special dialogue.
If a "blind" person says he want money next time aim your weapon at him just to check

A tip for you: forget about pulling a gun when you confront someone and pressing R2. The game is all about talk first before to decide wether you shoot or not. Again forget the (R2 button)😅😅

There's also legendary horses in the game that you can either buy or tame in the wild. There's one back in the snowy area of the map(where you were at the beginning of the game), it's an all white arabian horse. You could also get an all black Arabian horse in Chapter 2 or in a city that you visit later on in the game. Arabian horses are the best horses in the game. Although you might want to hold off getting them until later on in the game (if you know, you know)
