Nicely done. BTW, those Xcessive throttle locks are garbage. They increase the force required to actuate the pedal by a lot - and make it feel dead and as if it doesn't have near enough springback. In a previous video you said you're thinking about turbocharging - rather than a 1J, you should just put some rods/pistons into the 2JZGE and let it eat. Or, buy a good 2JZGE, build it and get it ready to swap in. For ECU, I can't say enough good things about Link G4x and Panic Wire's integration of it into our cars. I had them build me a custom harness, which came out great - but they also sell a plug and play setup that's excellent also. Good luck with the IS, brother.
Awesome thanks for the info. Yeah I’m definitely slowing getting some parts together because I do want to turbo it and as for the throttle lock idk I like it better with that. I also did a new cable and it feels like the car revs up without delay now
@@Inline6TV Wait til you get a good ECU and can actually calibrate the DBW throttle control... I have Link G4x controlling a Bosch 68mm DBW throttle and the responsiveness is at least as good as an old school cable throttle. Far, far superior to the stock Toyota DBW control - with or without the throttle lock installed.
Held up pretty well the most coats you put the better it’ll be. I unfortunately don’t have the car anymore but before I sold it they were looking good 👌🏼
looks good man, i've been thinking about doing this on my is300
Really makes a difference, btw I’m a fan of your turbo is300 👍🏻🙏🏼
@@Inline6TV awesome man, thank you 🤘 after i paint the car I'll be working on the interior.
@@2JZ_WISCO same thing I did. I got it painted now I’m trying to redo the whole interior.

Just saw this reply so sorry for the late response. Are you turbo ? Curious on the throttle body you’re using.
How has this held up? Thinking about doing the roof and pillars this way?

Hi, im wondering if it will work on the seats as well. Im a bit worried that it may stain clothing. Have you tried it?
Haven’t tried on seats. I doubt they’ll work well though since the seats are a high wear area.
Did u flock your dash
Yeah it’s half flocked.
Oem shifter?
Yes! OEM W55. All I did was replace all the bushings inside the shifter.
@@Inline6TV Thank you. I bought a manual swapped car with a cube shifter and it’s incredibly noisey.
Mines has the bottom coming off. Any glue you recommend?
Is it the fabric coming off ? If so 3M fabric adhesive is good I’ve used it before to reupholster civic door panels.
Rev up those fryers 🗣️‼️‼️
Clean
Pro tip: take the door cards off... It takes 30secs to do,
It looks cleaner but it looks black whereas it is supposed to look purple..
Yeah I was aiming for a full black interior cause it’ll match my flocked dash and the rest of my interior a-b-c piller panels
In the original brochure they are pictured as black, they turn blue/purple because of sun damage
Is the paint flat or glossy?
Fabric paint ? Has no gloss it’s more of a dye so you panel still looks the same just darker.
