Why are dark templars not used anymore ?
They are a bit of a gamble. Really expensive, and not so hard to counter if you see them coming, they can be a big commitment that can make you fall behind if your opponent counters them. But you still see them in some games.
gota say it seems like the commentator on the right isnt looking at the same match half the time and doesn't play much sc2
They talk about sniping the observer as if it was the game of the century and no one done it before. I mean even in bronze league (or at least in diamond for sure) people know that if you play lurkers it is really good to kill enemy observers. It was the most obvious move for Reynor, and so he did it. Hello people, it is 2024, the game is almost 15 years old. This kind of move is the most obvious move in low econ endgame.

I think they were talking about endgame upgrades in lurker den. One of them makes burrow faster.
