Anyone else think it's sad that, across all of Transformers, we've only ever known them when they were at war? It'll be 40 years this year that they've been around, and peace has always eluded them 😟
If it helps we see what happens AFTER the war (rebuilding, establishing government, etc) but I don't know if you would consider it peace since it still deals with the fallout of the war
Little known fact, originally Hasbro was going to market them as “Robot friends teach each other math and science “ but all little boys wanted do was bash them against each other.
I’m really fascinated by Exarchon, and would love to see him in other media. I wish IDW had gotten the chance to fully explore that Quintesson connection.
I really hope the upcoming 'Transformers One' movie expands further on this period. If it focuses on the right ideas, it could easily be one of the best Transformers movies.
It certainly would be interesting, but the biggest thing it needs to get right is the friendship and fallout between Optimus and Megatron. That’s the real meat of the story
Interesting how the Quintessons didn’t build Cybertron to be gold colored originally. Meaning the Golden Age is an unintended byproduct of Cybertronian prosperity.
I think that the "Golden Age" had more to do with the fact that the planet's energy resources, including the historically rarest known element: water (so mentioned in the Marvel Comic and seen in the cartoon episode War Dawn), were abundant and the gold color of the planet was just a visual representation. When the wars eventually drained the planet of most of its life-supporting resources, the planet took on an almost-dead indigo hue that we are most familiar with.
This is a fantastic narrative, that the golden age of the Transformers is when the war has ceased and the fighting allows Cybertron to become a war free world.
We know that a lot of unaligned Transformers fled the war and established colonies elsewhere in the galaxy (think the Junkions, who had red eyes like Decepticons but were basically indifferent to Galvatron's appearance).
I think the golden age is probably what some of my Autobot allier OCs (and the universe that is my take on tf lore) were created in, and the dark parts were probably conducted behind closed doors that few bots know about-my OCs not being among them.
A golden age, a period of great happiness, prosperity, and achievement. Is what I got when I Googled the words golden age. With the excellent video we just watched, we got the history and the different forms that the Golden Age has taken in Transformers media. It got me thinking did the original 13, Quintessons when in control of Cybertron, each of the colony worlds and even the Decepticons. If this was ever to be fleshed out it would interesting and bring out something new.
Very interesting. I always thought there were 2 separate Golden Ages in the Cartoon. The first was after the expulsion of the Quintessons and the second when the Autobots and Decepticons made peace until Megatron rose to power.
Thank you Chris, and thank those who requested this video! I learned so much about Cybertronian history, I have so much more fuel for Transformers fan fiction.😁
I really would watch a video about the council. There was one in the War Within comic, in Beast Machines (the council of elders) and in the WfC videogame. Who were its members and how did fit it in the cybertronian society?
Thank you for making this basic video about the history of Cybertron and how the great wars began between the Autobots and the decepticons. Congrats for your first video of 2024. Happy new year!! (Greetings from PR)
In my opinion, almost no Transformers continuity is complete without fleshing out what Cybertron was like before the war, be it in-series, through ancillary media, or just creator input. It breathes life into the story, gives us a reason to care about the Transformers and their world, explains why the war started in the first place, makes for some intriguing philosophical discussions, and makes the collapse of this beautiful world to war and ruin all the more tragic.
I would sure love to see more Transformers media consistently portraying the idea of golden metal = energized. As an addition to the TF design language it would be very useful for environmental storytelling, especially since powerful artifacts like the Matrix or the Vector Sigma Key are already portrayed as golden. It would at least be a lot more visually clear than trying to keep track of 10,000 different Energon colours.

Hello there Chris McFeely and fellow Transformers fans of this channel. I do apologize for the tardiness of my comment, but when this video was posted I was getting ready for work and had to save this video to my watch later list here on TH-cam. Which I am definitely glad that I did, because I found this video very interesting and very informational. I had no idea that a fictional planet, like Cybertron could have a wonderful and vast history behind it. Anyways, thank you so much for this great new video, which I found to be honestly enlightening. Can't wait to see more Transformers related videos from you. Until next time, when all are one. Peace Out and Maximize. Also, If anyone in the community has reading the new Energon Universe that Skybound/ Image is putting out. Would you recommend it for a read?
Great video as always! I guess once Transformers ONE releases you'll have to make an updated video on the Great War no? As far as Ancient History I'm fond of the Guiding Hand because it gives clear 'job' or 'domain' to its gods, like real life mythologies. The 13 Primes used to have that, with Vector Prime guarding Time, The Fallen formerly being the guardian of Entropy and the Nexus Prime being the Guardian of Rarified Energon, the stuff Sparks are made of but the new pantheon sorta feels disconnected... You got Onyx Prime who could be considered guardian of Beast Modes, Micronus Guardian of Minicons (just... a God of Short People?) and Solus Prime is basically the first female transformer (but also God of Makers) but a lot of the others don't really feel like mythological gods to me, their portfolio being a little vague. I'm always up for some Lost Colonies, regardless of the version of the past, just because it lets you mix different aesthetics of Transformers other than the original G1 flavor.
I think I speak for a lot of other people when I say this but thank you Chris. Your videos delving into the characters, background and history of transformers is awesome. My son and I have a shared interest in watching your videos and it’s wonderful to share it with him. Me being an old G1 fan and him being a much younger newer generation of the fans. Your videos bring us together and that’s something I really cherish. So I just want to say a massive thank you, and please keep going. I’ve learned a lot about transformers from you 😁
I’m a huge fan of the G1 cartoon origin, it always sat well with me. I don’t like the Marvel comics version with the god and devil dynamic. It’s a bit cringe and grandiose putting the Transformers at the center of the universe, it’s a bit rigid. I do enjoy a wounded Megatron with the idea that _villain has a point._ I love that Frank Walker stated that he made Megatron sound the way he did due to some unmentioned and deep hurt that he felt defined the character (or something like that). I love that, that resonated with me. I’d prefer an ancient Megatron pushing against the change that chafes him vs a young idealistic Optimus who once looked up to him until he was abused by the trauma Megatron had experienced, in effect making Optimus _like_ Megatron, and like most of these dynamics drawing everyone into their vortex of barbaric, violent suffering, and even into deep space itself. Optimus’s suffering is his own viewing of his role in this, his unreadiness to deal with pain and betrayal and hurt and each attempt to fight Megatron and his minions is an attempt to plug the hole, so to speak and to _redeem himself_ by ending the war, which is a fantasy. Megatron and Optimus _on equal terms_ is Niquil and without resonance because war is about an imbalance of power, one way or another. One archaic view mixed with their pride vs another’s inability to recognize that some views and behaviors _have no solutions._ Great Stuff, as always! Edit: I watch a lot of Professor Vaknin. Excuse the vernacular.
For those who haven't seen it yet, (pretty please) GO SEE TRANSFORMERS: ONE while it's still in the theatres!!! It's AMAZING, and truth be told, I really LOVE what they'd done with the story, and would be totally happy with Transformers: One being the new continuity. If it does well enough at the Box Office while it's still in the theatres, it'll increase the chances of the sequel(s...?)... Mr. McFeely, Sir, another AWESOME video; many thanks, as per always. Cheers... 'til all are one! \m/, (*o*) ,\m/
Great choice of topic, very coherently presented. I've always felt that the pre-war histories of the Transformers are woefully underserved given the topics it covers. Really hoping this year's movie does it justice, and that one day we'll get a golden Primus figure. 9:05 Love the duality of how in trying to avoid the very literal plague of rust, Cybertronian society experienced a metaphorical rust.
Those that have never get The Covenant of Primus book, this was good way to know the eras in the Aligned continuity. This concept is one of those big corner stones in TF lore.
Chris man, it is thanks to you that I have an easy way to explain to friends the history and facts of transformers. For my DND like transformers Rp I do with them. Great video learned some new stuff and others was nice recap.
V good vid. Well structured, and cool to see how largely similar some of the ideas are for the early story - but ultimately they develop very differently
Funny yet fitting that it was the Aligned Continuity that set the new standard for the story of pre-war Cybertron but also had Robots in Disguise, the most controversial part of the continuity be the first instance of anyone trying to delve into Post-war Cybertron. And what's sad is that we kinda see a return to the age of rust in some aspects with the Decepticons and how they were written out of history and a vaguely remiscant return to some of the darker aspects of societal corruption that lead to civil unrest and the great war as a result. Albeit thankfully with some new bots who while immature and not well experienced would help for the older more rigid aspects of Cybertron's government and roles to adapt and evolve further and prevent regressing further back. And keep in mind that this was all brand new territory for the creators and shows to cover and all uncharted territory so there's a reason why it felt so messy and didn't necessarily have the proper aspects it arguably deserved. But what was said and done would serve to further enhance future continuities and help them achieve fuller potential that the Aligned Continuity lacked and how to prevent problems or flaws it had and help further advance and develop future stories. Just like with Cyberverse and now Earthspark currently. And honestly they have to have gotten Earthspark right if the actual fascist elements and individuals in real life of our own world are getting all wound up and glitched in the head to the point where our own Decepticon like groups are trying to "cancel" it and say tyat it's too political or "woke" or whatever tinny whining and engine block bilge. Because this us arguably the most original return to form Transformers has ever been since G 1 which was, ya know, CREATED BECAUSE OF THE OIL CRISIS AND WARS IN THE EAST! The Reagan Administration as fragged the right wing party was even back then, still had things like the Disabilities Protection Act passed under their watch. And that showed with the original Transformers cartoon. One of the main characters was disabled and in a wheelchair. There were regular call outs and questioning of certain stereoiand roles they played and effects they had. Which were ALL about as "woke" or politically correct as you could get at the time. And that was in the 80's when the country was still a good bit more conservative than it is today. I just find it sad and amusing just how much this franchise and it's different continuities and stories reflect our own world in real life particularly here in the United States where all this backlash is currently coming from. When in reality that is arguably the one thing that has never changed about this franchise and how it has survived for so long as it has. Because it mirrors or is directly tied to the hip with our real life world and our own change in society and what is now currently acceptable and unacceptable in our society and politics. Always has been. Always will be. Change is literally the only constant and that's why it is the core of the Transformers franchise. All this stupid slag and sludge about LGBTQ representation and modern societal takes portrayed in Earthspark is literally just yet another transformation, another one of many, that is currently at play. The only real question is when if ever will we be able to accept and embrace that change in our own real world and lives so that we may also at some point reach our own new Golden Age. Because as it stands now, the only changes we have made have and are set to usher in total disaster for our iwn entire planet and race and life as we know it. The again, well we haven't exactly always had the best role models. And that's too bad cause we could sure use some more Primes right about now. And I don't mean ones like Nova.
For 2024, I request that you cover these three topics: The Junkions (because of the new Junkions released last year in the Legacy toyline) Sunstreaker (because of a new toy of him coming in the Transformers: Reactivate toyline) Silverbolt (because of the Beast Wars counterpart getting a new toy in this year's Legacy toyline)
He missed how in the first issue of the comic it was explained that transformers evolved from naturally occurring machines. I thought that was interesting and never really picked up on. Though to be fair I’m not sure how that would happen, but it seems like it could be fun to speculate. I also liked how in the comic the Transformers never encountered organic life before and so they didn’t recognize humans as the earths dominant life form.
A Great start to 2024 Could u do a video covering the various false primes throughout the franchise Those that were not created by primus or chosen by the matrix
My favorite concept is from the g1 cartoon, Megatron origins, and the autocracy storylines because I found a way to combine them into my own transformers take on the golden age and it’s final days of that era. Nova prime believes that cybertronians are gods and are destined to rule the universe with peace and order; but in reality he was cyberforming and subject-gating other planets to expand his autocracy while he placed sentinel and zeta prime in charge while expanding his vision. The two primes created a cast system that lead to corruption and social inequality to cybertron in an attempt to keep the people in line. Megatron an energon miner witnessed the cybertron guard killed an innocent co worker of his who called out the corruption and hypocrisy in the cybertronain government. The uprising was silenced by the guard and Megatron was taken in custody and that is when he meet frenzy and rumble who helped him escape. The trio decided to lay low in Kaon, back then it was worst city in cybertronain history because of its illegal underground fight clubs. Megatron saw this as an opportunity for a power grab and to make money. Orion pax, aerial, and Dion where dock workers who load and unload the energon barges but Orion had another job which was his favorite, a clerk in the Iacon hall of records. The more he learned of cybertron’s past; be became self aware of the corruption in high places of the autocracy alpha trion saw thing in inside the young Orion and made him his secret student who taught him everything about the truth of cybertron’s government and said “ the primes are not gods; we don’t decide which races can live and die. Primes also don’t belong in governments, we are leaders of warriors that shepherd the people. Most importantly freedom is the right of all sentient beings.’’ Alpha trion told Orion that he had a chance to govern the people of cybertron but refused to but it later became his greatest mistake because nova and his followers viewed Alpha Trion’s philosophical ideals as a threat to the government and kept him under surveillance and monitor his actions. Nova prime was wanted the matrix of leadership to himself but alpha trion saw darkness in his spark and refused. Nova prime took alpha trions rejection as a deliberate act of treason and declared him a threat to cybertron. If he can’t have the matrix and no one will. He hid the matrix of leadership in the darkest vault of the autocracy citadel fortress. Orion knows he had to fight back if he doesn’t nova prime knows he wins. To fight back he needs to have a following, Orion pax however doesn’t have the numbers needed to plan a peaceful way to change or remove acorrupt government. Orion knows a gladiator named Megatron because his power as a warrior proves he’s strong, he gained a following to show that Megatron will fight against the autocracy and his political ideals that there’s more bots on cybertron who wanted change to cybertronain government. The two became friends and Orion saw him as an inspiration. The two bots worked together for a while Orion wrote speeches for Megatron to rally the people of cybertron for the coming revolution; but as time passed Orion was starting to see his friend showed his true colors and wanted to overthrow the broken system by a violent revolutionary force and had a reputation for criminal and terrorist acts on the government and the people who get caught in the crossfire. Orion and Megatron where brought to the high council and Orion didn’t believe in violence and convinced them that his intentions were good and he never throw his morality and integrity in the scrap heap. The council was moved by Orion’s words and believe him to be the next prime. Megatron was angry about this he severed all ties with Orion and the council support and do it his ways. After he left the autocracy raid the council chamber and sentinel prime said this council has been disbanded by the authority of the zeta prime.” Sentinel arrested all the council members and arrested Orion. Orion pax you are founded guilty of aiding and abetting with terrorist Megatron and high treason to the autocracy. Orion then called out the autocracy for their corruption, hypocrisy, and taking sword against the people of cybertron. Zeta prime knows if they kill Orion he’ll become a martyr and they’ll lose the senates support and he gives Orion an ultimatum serve the cybertron guard or prison. He gave him a mega cycle to decide. Orion placed in a holding cell. Orion has a visitor who wants to speak to you. It’s was no other than alpha trion he wants Orion to join the cybertron guard to keep the fight going and insist that promise has a plan for you. Must build new allies in the guard to kept the fight going. A few years after he joined the guard he is now torn to do his job in cybertron guard or believing his ideals so he can reform the system without violence. That’s my take on cybertron’s golden age and it’s final days of the era of peace on cybertron the rest of the story will go on in the autocracy storyline and then g1 season 1 episode 1.
As always a great video bro....CB is eagerly awaiting this TRANSFORMERS ONE movie to see exactly where it will take us on our neverending journey of Transformers
I most prefer the G1 cartoon version, and hated the IDW "what if the Autobots were bad really?" deconstructionism, but I do have a good chuckle at Megatron's "Make Cybertron Great Again" origin 😆
Given that much of the Transformers' origins comes from Marvel writer's Bob Budiansky and Simon Furman, I've often wondered it they didn't tie this into the Marvel Universe Origins given that Primus and Unicron are similar to Celestials and Asparants of the First Firmament, whose War, shattered the First Firmament into the Multiverse.
Great video Chris and what a good way to start off in 2024 and I like the Golden Age from G1 but if I had to decide which new version I like so far it be in TF Prime I always like the backstory of Optimus Prime and Megatron in that series and can’t wait for the new animated movie coming out soon and I hope to see a video of Wreck Gar in the future soon?
Hi Mr Chris, I know I should told you before but please make the basics on Decepticon Devcon wich only appearances he got was in1985 transformers show and Dotm movie, he chained Crab like body
I was always curious how the Golden Age looked like in the Transformers Animated 2007 series. Since everything takes place so long after the end of the Great War the info on the time before (that I could personally find) is a little sparce and building a concrete narrative is hard. I've seen several unique takes and theories but everything is staying mostly within the realm of fanfiction.
I wish hasbro would revisit g1 cartoons. Pick up where rebirth left off, or maybe at minimum, redo Galvatron back to Megatron updates form of course or back to a type of gun. I think that would make a whole lot of people happy.
A great topic for a worthy cause. My favourite versions are what was developed in the original cartoon, any elements derived from it in later incarnations, and the rebooted IDW version also sounds promising.
The transformers were "consumer goods"? What alien races bought 10-30 foot tall robots from the Quintessons? That part of the story never really made sense. Lol.
Alien races that were either just as large or even larger than them. Even for "human-sized" races, probably as weapons or construction equipment but as giant robots. Maybe they were initially even piloted mecha, like an in-universe version of their Diaclone roots.
In the Gen-1 cartoon lore, is it not somewhere established that the Questions arrived on Cybertron, and started to "meddle" ( by this i mean improve upon, start supplying consumer, and otherwise bots that are already existing from Primus?..) obviously it took a Quentsson to revive Optimus Prime. Somewhere along the way I seem to remember reading they came across an already existing species, and basically enslaved them. It could just be me misremembering. Obviously a "spark" wasn't mentioned until Beast Wars but I feel like Primus was already there prior to them. Anybody care to help me out here?
That concept was introduced into a version of the cartoon's lore by BotCon's "Transformers Universe Featuring the Wreckers" comic in 2004. More about it in The Basics on Quintessons, Primus, and "Creation Myths" videos!
@@ChrisMcFeely hey thanks so much! I'm a huge fan of your channel. You wouldn't know by looking at my current handle but I'm in-between tablets. You are the only one who is spot on! Oh, and I love how you ALWAYS say "The monster planet, Unicron" when referring to him! I can't help it when I even mention him. Ok that's all thanks again!
Yeah, they haven't exactly been loudly promoting it despite the fact it's out in 8 months! We basically know nothing about it beyond what I said in the vid!
In my personal canon… Cybertron never had a Golden Age. All the Transformers knew was enslavement by their makers the Quintessons, war against the Quintessons, war between the Autobots and Decepticons, and a currently ongoing search for a new home for the Cybertronian race following Cybertron’s destruction. Ironically, the Transformers’ golden age might come about thanks to their time on Earth.
Maybe those who speak of the nonexistent Golden Age are like the grumbling Israelites longing for Egypt despite all the horrible things they were subjected to there. They see their time under the Quints as having been better than the hell of centuries of war. Tappet (that Non-Aligned Indigenous Lifeform jerk): “We had it made under the Quintessons’ rule. Jobs that weren’t shooting each other or finding new ways to kill each other, we got to see the universe, no awkward family reunions… oh, it was paradise!” Armorhide (depicted here as his 2007 movie toy): “WE WERE IN SLAVERY!!” Tappet: “Nothing is perfect.”
I love the covenant of Primus, was fun reading to my daughter as a bedtime story. Just would love a digital copy of it as i don't want the book damaged.
I love how literally the G1 cartoon used the term "Golden Age". Like yeah the whole planet is gold sure why not

Interestingly, no Transformers story has ever followed up with a "Silver Age" and "Bronze Age" as in archaeology and comic books.
Far as I can tell, those ages rarely get to happen or get fleshed out: it’s an immediate jump into the Great War once the Golden Age closes.
@@GalvyTheTomtheres the age of rust before that

That's a good idea
This is a fantastic narrative, that the golden age of the Transformers is when the war has ceased and the fighting allows Cybertron to become a war free world.
This was a very interesting episode Chris. I knew next to nothing about this concept of Transformers lore, aside from maybe the 13 Primes.
Like many other cornerstones of Transformers lore, the Golden Age certainly has its share of unique narratives.

Was there ever a Basics episode about Cybertronians who where neither autobt or decepticon?

It got me thinking did the original 13, Quintessons when in control of Cybertron, each of the colony worlds and even the Decepticons. If this was ever to be fleshed out it would interesting and bring out something new.
I just want to say thank you for doing these. I know that they must take a fair amount of time to put together. It's appreciated.
Great start for the Basics this year
I absolutely loved this episode, great to have you back for 2024 Chris ❤️👏
God I love the Aligned Continuity's take on Cybertrons history, it's just such a deep story that you can sink your teeth into.
We need a series about cybertron before the war
Thank you for making this basic video about the history of Cybertron and how the great wars began between the Autobots and the decepticons. Congrats for your first video of 2024. Happy new year!! (Greetings from PR)
A concept that does not really draws much attention. Very interesting! Thanks Chris!
Hi Chris, Great Video about Transformers: The Basics on The Golden Age of Cybertron, keep them coming, Also your latest video was magnificent, Also It's amazing how many perspectives you can look at to see what Cybertron was like before the Great War. Great Video Chris! Also I really hope the upcoming 'Transformers One' movie expands further on this period. If it focuses on the right ideas, it could easily be one of the best Transformers movies. Also This is a fantastic narrative, that the golden age of the Transformers is when the war has ceased and the fighting allows Cybertron to become a war free world. Also Thank you Chris, and thank those who requested this video! I learned so much about Cybertronian history, I have so much fuel for Transformers fan fiction. Also Great episode again! Wouldn't it be great If Hasbro would make Golden Age Transformers for their 40th Anniversary.🥰🥰, Also Great video Chris and what a good way to start off in 2024 and I like The Golden Age from G1 but also i too like TF Prime and I always like the backstory of Optimus Prime and Megatron in that series and can't wait for the new animated movie coming out soon and i hope to see a video of Wreck Gar in the future soon. Also Thank you for making this basic video about the history of Cybertron and how the great wars began between The Autobots and the Decepticons. Also Congrats for your first video of 2024. all i can say is: keep up the good work stay safe out there have a good day and a Happy New Year Chris(Greetings from Steven B.Hamilton).🙂🦸🟢💪🇺🇲 11:11 pm.
Beyond awesome! I knew a little about the golden age! But this review just blew my mind! And I learned more about the transformers ! I loved it!!!
I’ve learned a lot about transformers from you 😁
I never knew about the “age of origins“ because transformers prime, never directly mentioned it. That show only mentioned “the great cataclysm“
One archaic view mixed with their pride vs another’s inability to recognize that some views and behaviors _have no solutions._
Great Stuff, as always!

One more week. Can’t wait.
Those that have never get The Covenant of Primus book, this was good way to know the eras in the Aligned continuity.
This concept is one of those big corner stones in TF lore.
Which was butchered by uncooperative people and Hasbro's stupidity.
@@twistedgaming9185 🤨Huh?
@@MrDoctorVK l think he means That Transformers RID 2015 ruined the Aligned Continuity

For 2024, I request that you cover these three topics:
The Junkions (because of the new Junkions released last year in the Legacy toyline)
Sunstreaker (because of a new toy of him coming in the Transformers: Reactivate toyline)
Silverbolt (because of the Beast Wars counterpart getting a new toy in this year's Legacy toyline)
I second the Junkions.
It ended being replaced by Primus, so I can see why he didn't mention it
Thank you for this belated birthday gift, Chris!
Happy late birthday
@@LuckyDragonGaming Thanks.
A Great start to 2024
Could u do a video covering the various false primes throughout the franchise
Those that were not created by primus or chosen by the matrix
WOW! Truly informative! Love how the combined all the lure into one.
Well that was a good subject to kick-start the year of the Transformers franchise's 40th anniversary.
Great story

Welcome back Chris
I most prefer the G1 cartoon version, and hated the IDW "what if the Autobots were bad really?" deconstructionism, but I do have a good chuckle at Megatron's "Make Cybertron Great Again" origin 😆
Great episode again!
Wouldn't it be great if Hasbro would make Golden Age Transformers for their 40th anniversary 🥰🥰
Do THE BASICS on GRAPPLE next!
The Golden Age of Animated is the same as G1 animated series Golden Age. They are in the same universe.

Yes a vidéo on Cybertron before the war
I wish hasbro would revisit g1 cartoons. Pick up where rebirth left off, or maybe at minimum, redo Galvatron back to Megatron updates form of course or back to a type of gun. I think that would make a whole lot of people happy.
I really hope Transformers One shows us what Cybertron really was before the war, hopefully they'll do it justice
@Kayrannkanal20 I know, but TF One tells it from more of a Orion Pax and Megatronus perspective in addition to it being on the big screen
A great topic for a worthy cause.
My favourite versions are what was developed in the original cartoon, any elements derived from it in later incarnations, and the rebooted IDW version also sounds promising.
Unfortunately the IDW reboot was cancelled when they lost the license. Image comics is now making their own series
Here's to another year of transformers lore!
this is a banger video
Could you do a video on the other alien species of the transformers universe
The transformers were "consumer goods"? What alien races bought 10-30 foot tall robots from the Quintessons? That part of the story never really made sense. Lol.
Alien races that were either just as large or even larger than them. Even for "human-sized" races, probably as weapons or construction equipment but as giant robots.
Maybe they were initially even piloted mecha, like an in-universe version of their Diaclone roots.
The basics of primocron, that alien dude who created unicron in the g1 cartoon
I can’t wait to see how it’s happen, Please I hope The movie gets official trailer and comes out
I like how Cybertron returned to its gold status by the end of the cartoon
What a way to start this year
2:13 what episode?
"Five Faces of Darkness," Part 4.
@@ChrisMcFeelywhat's your favorite transformers show/movie? My favorite show is Transformers Prime

Happy beautiful amazing 40th anniversary to our iconic robots in disguise
In my personal canon… Cybertron never had a Golden Age. All the Transformers knew was enslavement by their makers the Quintessons, war against the Quintessons, war between the Autobots and Decepticons, and a currently ongoing search for a new home for the Cybertronian race following Cybertron’s destruction. Ironically, the Transformers’ golden age might come about thanks to their time on Earth.
But would they talk about it as if it _had_ existed? Like a fiction within the fiction of the Transformers?
Maybe those who speak of the nonexistent Golden Age are like the grumbling Israelites longing for Egypt despite all the horrible things they were subjected to there. They see their time under the Quints as having been better than the hell of centuries of war.
Tappet (that Non-Aligned Indigenous Lifeform jerk): “We had it made under the Quintessons’ rule. Jobs that weren’t shooting each other or finding new ways to kill each other, we got to see the universe, no awkward family reunions… oh, it was paradise!”
Armorhide (depicted here as his 2007 movie toy): “WE WERE IN SLAVERY!!”
Tappet: “Nothing is perfect.”
Please do Tracks and the Technobots/Computron next! 🙏🏻
