Prescott Bush was one of the Republicans on the wrong side of History which makes it ironic that George H W Bush became a Navy Pilot and was shot down by the Japanese at 19 years old on his 58th Mission, but doesn't make him any less a Hero. The McCarthy Hearings were something my Grandpa used to talk about especially considering that in 1948 Harry Truman and the DNC had announced a Civil Rights platform splitting the Democratic Party with the Dixicrats leaving the Democrats and the way that he always suspected that the McCarthy Hearings were a distraction from the Nasi's and Extremists that the Republican Party had absorbed into it and the way that the Dixicrats joined the Republicans and the Liberal Republicans had joined the Democrats when the two Parties realined themselves in 1965.
