Good question, I have lived in CA most of my life and I can't figure it out. The dems have established a vote harvesting machine that is tough to compete against. Four families control everything. Browns, Newsomes, Pelosi's and Gettys. They are all related and go way back to early 1900s when Grandpappy Newsome financed the Campaign of Grandpappy Brown.
