    Sriracha hot sauce to

    The Korean version of Onigiri (a summer time favorite, here!) ?? I say this because I found two unopened bags of sushi rice in my chest freezer the other day so am well stocked for the near future....all of these look good and I hope to try them once the weather stays warm enough...

    These look super tasty. I’m always a smoked tofu fan, lol. When you started talking about your sponsor for the video, my mind instantly went to Compliments, as in the house brand for Sobeys. 😂

    I was never sensitive to the subtle differences between different kinds of oil. This spring, I started cooking whole meals with just sesame oil, and now I'm able to taste the difference between all different kinds of oil.

    When you make the rice...do you still need sushi vinegar to pour over the rice once cooked as you do when making sushi or is it just plain rice? Thanks!!! 🎉🎉🎉

    Is there a difference between that seaweed and nori? I can find nori here but the nearest asian grocery store would be an hour's drive away at least

    • @annoyingbutmorallyconsistent
      @annoyingbutmorallyconsistent ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I was going to try it and just add a little extra sesame oil, smoked paprika and salt to the rice.

    • @Megan9689
      @Megan9689 ปีที่แล้ว

      Pretty sure it's the same as nori, you just break up the square sheet like she shows or cut it.

    • @CheapLazyVegan
      @CheapLazyVegan  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      there's a difference in that nori is more "structured" and won't "crumble" as easily and also nori is unseasoned whereas the roasted seaweed is seasoned! but you can definitely still cut up nori sheets and probably just add in more sesame oil, salt and other flavourings!

    • @DaBlondDude
      @DaBlondDude ปีที่แล้ว

      @@CheapLazyVegan Sounds good, thanks, what other seasoning would be missing to make it at least similar?
