Been an Arkansas fan my whole life and have major respect for Saban and the Tide. Brought back a tinge of pain seeing that first video play as Arkansas has played Bama well in past but lost 99% of the games. I think anyone who was honored enough to play or witness the Saban area was blessed.

Love how Barrett Jones called that screen on LSU for the Yeldon TD. I’d argue that wasn’t the best play, as the best play wasn’t even a play but Barrett Jones pushing AJ when the game was already outta reach. As it shows how determined that team was. I agree with a good bit of these on the list. The ‘15 Kenyan Drake one easily tho co-best with the onside kick.
Another thing no one ever talks about is how absolutely cool and calm Tua was after that sack. Take a look at him looking at the sidelines for the next play like it's business as usual. The guy was 19 years old you just don't see that all the time.

Before making claims about a Dynasty's demise, one has to be established. There are winning traditions, where fans pout and fire @8-3, and there are Dynasties in which the reign is so deeply entrenched that Legends emerge so frequently- One simply cannot keep tabs.

Yes I'm salty, but rewatch the play @2:39 When Cody removes his helmet, the ball was still in play. During the 2009 season, not only was it a penalty to remove your helmet, but that would have given UT 5 yards or so, and a second shot at the field goal. Idk if they would have made it, but that game should have had 1 more play. Great move by Cody though.

The first of many. Wagging the #1 as he walked off the field that night. Everyone knew we were about to witness something special in the future from Nick Saban. Epic stuff. So sad to see him go.
I wonder where sunseri is today? He was the kind of player every coach wants on his team. Not a big time playmaker but he was a big time steady work horse who knew what his job was and worked day in and day out to accomplish his what was asked of him. I was a big fan of his.
Personally I would have used a play for 2021 when we whooped Georgia in the SEC championship before both our star WR's got hurt.. we would have whooped them again in the national championship if we didn't lose Williams & Metchie.. I would have used a different play for the 2020 national championship team too
