My parent love them and i watch many of their videos during childhood. Now i learn to playing guitar and sometimes jamming with their music videos. Try it someday and trust me , you'll love them even more
I know im asking the wrong place but does anybody know a way to get back into an instagram account..? I was dumb forgot my password. I would appreciate any tips you can offer me
Casiopea had such a huge presence in Indonesia back in the early 80s and so many Indonesian fusion bands of that era were heavily influenced by this band!!! This band practically set the direction of fusion for Indonesia 🇮🇩
can you recommend me some Indonesian musicians or bands that heavily influenced by casiopea or other fusion jazz bands? I really want to dig more about it for my music preference. much appreciated for your help :D

The energy there is absolutely bonkers, they're absolutely out of their minds after 2 minutes. It's something few musicians are able to experience in their lifetime
I adore this song, but occasionally this live version gives me so many inexplicable feelings, between a nostalgia (for something I didn't experience) and an immense happiness that caresses my heart and makes me want to cry. Look at those faces, the audience enjoying the show, Minoru jumping like crazy, just beautiful and they are amazing. I guess that's what music is about. Masters! I am grateful that they have left their mark on the world.
I feel the exact same as you! It's such an overwhelming inspiration to the human spirit to see these wonderful artists creating a masterpiece before our very eyes, and the very real human reaction to it. The smiles in the crowd and when Sakurai and Noro hit the WHOA @ 4:16. Sheesh. This is a masterclass in music and showmanship.
How can you not love these guys? Keyboardist literally jumping at the end 😂. Man, every time I listen I feel sort of inspired to make music but also feel like I lack the means to write music nearly as awesome as this.
I believe it was the spring of 1983 as I remember Minoru Mukaiya talking about the Photograph album having just been released. My band mates and I went to see them playing at the Yamaha Centre then located in Nakanoshima, Sapporo, Japan. As we were hanging around the centre, looking at keyboards and other instruments on display, the members of Casiopea found us and began talking to us in a very friendly way - just before the concert. They were in their 20s and we were 14 years old. I remember bugger-all of what we talked about. But we had our jackets autographed by the Casiopea members. Of course, being ordinary school boys, we did not speak English back then. And little did we know then that this band would later become so well-known in many parts of the world! Here I am living in an English-speaking country, reading all these comments, many of which coming from countries other than Japan, makes me so happy! It’s been 40 years since I saw them. But I can still listen to and ‘see’ them on TH-cam. Not only that, I can even leave comments that I know someone somewhere in the world might get to read. Thanks, internet. Thanks, TH-cam. And thanks, Casiopea.
Honestly someone said in these comments that Casiopea makes magical music and that's the unknown feeling they give off. Honestly, their music is so beautiful it feels my heart with joy I cant describe it
I was living in Guam during the mid-80s and Casiopea would play there occasionally. Billed as "Yamaha's Electric Team" they would play the supper clubs and other Japanese tourist venues which were thriving at that time. Wonderfully talented. A night of watching their performance was an awe inspiring event.
I cannot count how many times I listened to Eyes Of The Mind. Heard Casiopea every time they where in Copenhagen - the first time they were here was really intense. But this concert - wish I was there. Makes me want to go to Japan - where I have never been......
I have several Live Video Concerts Of this Great Band Back from when I was Touring Japan and Got to see them at the concert Hall Called the Egg.Back in the "80"s.
Can’t believe I’m just discovering this band(thanks to Tik Tok). Holy shit this performance ignited my soul, especially seeing everyone get down with the fusion funk. Thank you sharing this!!!

@@TheLemonMasterYT amen brother, it is amazing!
This man and his energy is spectacularly beautiful and nothing stands in the way of that fact
Sega's favourite band in the 80's.
+HarmoDevil waht
What I mean is that many Sega composers in the 80's were influenced by this band. For example, the music of Out Run was imspired by Casiopea.
not just sega, atlus' shoji meguro (composer of the persona series' music) was also inspired by them
Yeah, Casiopea were quite influential (though not as much as Yellow Magic Orchestra) on many Japanese game composers.
Atlus is a Sega company.
the keyboardist is definitely taking that synthesizer back stage for some sexy time after the show.
His name is minoru mukaiya
and he's taking that synthesizer backstage for some very sexy time after the show.
and her name is dx-7 yamaha.
and she's being taken backstage for some sexy time after the show.
😂
The band is vibin
The crowd is vibin
The comment section is vibin

You can really feel the unbridled optimism of the boom years of Japan in this music.

Agreed -- I love coming back to this song. It represents the joy of music, especially the way the band plays it with such excitement and energy.

They’re so damn good it’s criminal. Japan is just too amazing at just about everything!
This is awesome! Just perfect!
I wasn't yet alive in 1983 ..
Amazing 30 years later its still hot!
this gives my life meaning, everyone has a smile on their face, everyone is enjoying the music and everyone is just having a good time.
THE‼️CASIOPEA‼️
Issei is moving like Prince....but he is still crushing!
Omg... Never in life there's an instrumental band as phenomenal as Casiopea. This takes me to my junior high era... The age of innocence 😁
The fact that their drummer is named Akira and their bassist is named Tetsuo makes me wonder why their guitarist isn't named Kaneda...
😅😅😅😅 your comment make my day ❤❤❤❤
Life-saving music right here
One of the best Fusion Jazz bands in the world, if not the best! CASIOPEA rocks!

My favorite rendition of "Eyes of the Mind" that I've heard so far...
Absolutely, wish this was available on streaming services!

Casiopea continue to totally astonish me, blowing me away repeatedly. Genuinely sublime. Perfection, as far as I’m concerned.
