Agree, the range of knowledge given, from beginner-ish level to more advanced is incredible! Wasn't expecting that much in such a few time, but Peter is very clear and concise, it allows a lot of info/minute without losing us.

really good video - ive barely used blender but my understanding of photoshop and after effects makes me feel like it is approachable. I'll have to learn more basics before doing some of the things you described to have more context, but the tutorial was really good. the only thing that I could think would make it more learning intuitive is just repeating yourself rather than directing people to a specific section of a different tutorial. I usually find that when tutorials are a all stop shop for the lesson and its less of a scavenger hunt for supporting information needed, they are easier to understand I go back to them often. but all in all you made a pretty complex effect seem doable, and easy to understand in 3 minutes which is great. thanks for all the extra work you do

I've started Blender last week and I have to say Blender itself is not that complicated you just have to learn the buttons and tools. The real hard part of learning Blender is finding the right tutorial to learn 1 damn thing, and you sir, are the greatest channel ever - no time wasting with no information missing, and everything is clear. Thank you so much!
is photoscanning the room completely necessary? Can you fake the chair w/simpler shapes and use a HDR for the lighting and use shadow catchers where appropriate?
@@unicornhuntercg I would say it's more necessary than photoscanning the room. Trying to replicate the visual look of someones arm to match real footage can be a big pain, while creating collision objects that just need a rough shape and wont be seen doesnt really require a photoscan. Ultimately its down to personal preferance and time restraints.
@@BlackCat.Designs definitely the photoscan would need more PC resources. You can watch Peter's video on making a head explotion for a different workflow
