AGM - Lithium Battery Upgrade

With aging AGM batteries it had become time to either replace them with new AGM batteries or to do the upgrade to Lithium. With our future plans requiring more and more battery power usage and the ever issue of weight, we decide to go with an upgrade.
After fitting the two Lithium batteries and finding out that they were not going to work and perform as expected, I contacted Matt from “Extreme Auto Caravan and Camping “who informed me that I would require an upgrade to my battery management system to run Lithium batteries in my caravan. Due to Matt’s heavy work load and being booked out for several months he suggested that I have a talk to Kym from “Mobile Electrical Diagnostic Solutions” who basically confirmed what Matt had already told me. After walking me through what was required to upgrade the battery management system in our caravan, a booking was secured with Kym and the job was completed.
This video isn’t a deterrent not to fit Lithium batteries but more so to inform you of what might be required when upgrading an existing standard AGM set-up over to a Lithium set-up.
