      Thanks!
Today i might put another MOT in Parallel/knock out the shunts

Those are some really good arcs

Hi Janno. The high voltage breakout is fantastic! Is there any way I could get a schematic for your setup? I have several of these tubes, along with microwave oven transformers and HV caps. My long term goal is to use a VTTC to power a large plasma globe.

Yes it is possible, the schematic was shown in the last Video, only things that need to be adjusted is the primary turns and the primary capacitance to hit the secondary at its resonance frequency.
You can play around with turns and sizes in a tesla coil resonant frequency calculator, then you wind your secondary.
Then you change my Oscillators L and C to hit the resonance frequency.
remmeber that tube to grid capacitance is 20-40pF extra.
I still havent optimised this setup, its a bit better now with a thicker primary (i havent made a video yet) but I've noticed that it seems to like 2.9MHz more

    this is cool experiment

@@ElectronHVChannel Yes and since it is still out of tune it shows a lot of potential since the optimisation options are smaller so less to go wrong overall

    nice

Looks solid, you could get some small diameter copper pipe for the primary, and run it with a water pump inside, use car coolant or destilled water

@@cheri758 i just used thicker wire, that seems to have fixed it
