one thing i recommend: for anyone who carries expensive things in their backpack or highly prized things in their backpack like a laptop, i definitely recommend investing in a tracking device (like apple’s airtags) in the event that you could possibly lose your items! adds a level of security and u could easily attach them to backpacks, keys, etc.

Does anyone know a cheaper / non Apple alternative? I don't lose stuff that often nowadays but only bc I use 80% of my brain capacity to remember where I left things. Would make my life easier but also I'm not the biggest apple fan / I don't have any apple products and don't know if an airtag would work that smoothly with my android. That's how it works, isn't it? Via your phone?

i'm 21 and i'm supposed to have like 2 degrees rn according to the plan i had when i graduated high school. unfortunately health issues and having to live at the hospital came in the way and i'm now currently halfway through a bachelor's degree, with no plans of going back to school as early as this september. i wanted to say thanks linh for always making such great content, even though it's not back to school season for me i still really enjoyed this; and second- if you're reading this and are pausing school/considering taking a year off/redoing a year, etc rn for whatever reason that may be, i hope you dont feel guilty! we're all going at our own pace and school, no matter if you're in middle school or grad school, is very hard to navigate for a lot of people
i know i finished college here in my country almost 5 years ago but YES still love to watch these types of videos YET i will be forever choked with the AMOUNT of things you guys carry on your backpacks. here, as the last year of college is closer, we tend to carry LESS mostly because we're tired (sometimes to work before or after the classes used to take more space in my backpack than school supplies)

Aw man realizing linh's had the same school experience as me in terms of the pandemic makes me feel a little less alone in that really weird, "I didn't actually transition out of it" feeling. My senior year and grad was online- didn't even get a ceremony, just a shoddyily put together video and didn't even get our gowns (literally refunded them the day we were supposed to pick up graduating stuff from school), my first year of uni was very lonely, isolated, disconnected, and didn't even feel real. I didn't get to go inside my school building even once. I only met one of my teachers face to face.
And now with the possibility of going back to in person school it's like god, what do I even do? How do I socialize? How do I present myself? Will I be able to wake up on time? Catch the bus? Make my lunch the night before? Will it all get cancelled again and all my worrying be for nothing? What do I even buy when I don't even know if I'll be in-person or not? It's all so confusing and frustrating. And yet at the same time I'm very, very tentatively excited. Not quite yet, but just at the edge of it watching cautiously, wondering if it's safe to be so yet.
