I remember my sister (in middle school), mom and I (also in middle school) were on our way to pick up my brothers (elementary) for a dentist appointment. We were so excited to buy the teriyaki beef strips and white rice from my brothers' school so my mom could try it. Unfortunately, my mom was pulled over and arrested for passing a stop sign that i know she didnt pass. She wasn't born in the U.S. and didnt have a license so yeah not fun times. But years later while working at my new job (21 y/o), I got a chance to eat teriyaki beef strips and white rice and was immediately reminded of that moment. My mom still isn't a citizen or even a resident, but she has a work permit and license and things have definitely improved since that run in with the officer so many years ago. I almost cried while eating those stupid strips loll So yes, while getting a Dyson vacuum may not seem like a big deal to many, I'm glad you see its value in her life just as I saw the value in how far my family and I have come as well in those dang teriyaki beef strips :')

I’m an Indian and I did live in PGs/ shared apartments. We don’t have facility of “laundry” here. We have to handwash our clothes. It’s particularly hard during winters (no central heating either ) and North Indian winters is harsh in Jan. washing and drying woollens with hands is another task. Also never had the luxury of having so much space.
I have enjoyed watching all your videos to keep me motivated during Online Classes and seeing your vlogs now that you're back in campus it has me miss my university, but at the same time lessen that feeling💜 Thank you ✨💜

I use a French press exclusively! They sell good priced ones at Fry's Kroger stores. I have a small one that is perfect for two cups of coffee! I recommend getting one since it's also more sustainable, not needing any filters or k-cups :)
