This is definitely beyond my skill level, but I'm really enjoying watching your process . I have made a leaf stencil, though ready to make the privacy screen from your last project. 😊
Thanks Vic. I've not used anything that I would never use again but then haven't used lots of different woods. I have made some seats using larch which can leak resin in hot weather, which isn't ideal. But any straight grained, strong, hardwood is fair game.
Wow that jig for turning tapered tenons is genius! You could make another jig to make precise straight tenons too I suppose! 👏🏻
Yes, you could make it any shape you like, within reason 👍
Great video rob, even though you have taught me how to make chairs I have already learnt something from this video, can’t wait for part 2
Cheers, Lewis. Part 2 is nearing completion 👍👍

Thank you. Thanks for watching. It's great that you are making a screen after watching my other video. Cheers 🥂
This is GREAT ! Has helped me a lot. Thank you.
Thanks for the comment. Glad it helped!
Great...^^
Thank you! Cheers!
What did you rub on your planer? When planing the legs
I used a piece of candle wax to lubricate the plane some. Works a treat. Thanks for watching 👍
Good video Rob. Is there any wood you wouldn't recommend using for a stick chair?
