Whenever I see a stiltbeast studio video, I click on it and before it's even started, I click the like button. I've never regretted that decision. Always fantastic.
I love to watch you work, just get’r done. It helps me relax when I do crafts, I am dying that you used your rotary cutter on your work bench and not a cutting mat. 😂. I can’t believe how cool that bat turned out!
home improvement stores love when I watch your videos it just makes my shopping list longer..... And I love the videos bc the versatility of the products you use save me money..... thanks
there is a durability and flamability issue there. One of the best "hang downs" I know of is Soaker hoses. The material has a great feel to it and it is cheap and easy to obtain.
I wasn't sure when you started the crow but by the time you were finished I am sold! I was looking for a cheap way to make a ton of birds, this is perfect! thank you! Definitely want to check out some of your other videos!
that depends on the set up you have. I can do a workshop tour if you like so you can see my organizational systems. They work for me but they may not with smaller space.
i like the hot glue on the bat wings..the reflections from the glue really look like bones.I'm sure alfred hitchcock would have loved to know your bird building techniques! thanks for sharing allen Youre the greatest!
like for a pirate's parrot? I would use a stiffer floral wire and run one leg down the back and one down the chest through holes in the wardrobe. They could have a bit of grabbing tension because of the bends you put in them.
Always love to see you work, glad to see the new vid. I miss TH-cam Wednesday!. Love em. I plan to use a lot of your methods during the coming season. Come them coming!
great use of alternative mats (you seem to be a master at that). I am actually picking up something like this to make overlay masks for LARP. Between this and your gelatin molding, things should look good.
I really love that bat, will do some of those, we don't do much with birds but i'll show my daughter this video, i'm sure she will want to do some birds. As always, love your videos.
If you are making so many of these, make a template of the body pieces out of something firm, then use a silver pen and draw them all out at one time or just cut out around the template. Thanks for sharing your fun pieces.
Sorry for not answering right away. I do have a small space, but a quick tour of your shop would help. Thanks for you vids, they are awesome! Where is your Monster Shop? I'm in Texas and I wanna head out sometime.
you all probably dont give a shit but does any of you know of a trick to get back into an Instagram account?? I somehow lost the login password. I would appreciate any tricks you can give me.
@Maddux Donald I really appreciate your reply. I found the site on google and im in the hacking process atm. I see it takes a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Rather than gluing the two bird sides together at the top, you could reflect the bird pattern, connected at the outer curve of the back. A little less cutting, a little less gluing.
Thanks for the video. Question, I make a lot of different things, like Kachina Masks, Day of the Dead Dolls, Halloween stuff, etc. I have a lot of craft supplies. I always have trouble staying organized. Anytime I put things away in my craft drawers then when I wanna work on something, it takes me longer to find what I need that it actually takes to make it! Any suggestions?.
YES! I LOVE fake bats and things for my graveyards, I spent 50 bucks on a rubber bat last year, this will end my over-paying for rubber bats and crows!
I was searching The Tube (tt) for Halloween ideas and ended up here (The best one!!!). You are a "Hoot" as us Southerners say. When I heard you invite your subies to send you Facebook friend request I looked and you had just invited more than 19,002 people. I can barely keep up with family and close friends. Can't wait to watch more. Your newest Subie from Tennessee on 9/19/2015.
+Gina Mills Im a pretty open guy- if there is a way to help folks and I am able then I want to be able to. So glad you liked the videos and thank you for taking the time to comment. Have a great Halloween!
Why not make that form out of something more durable like cardboard or masonite? You could use it a zillion times and it would go much more quickly to trace with it. Cool stuff here. Thanks!
Thanks for the info. Great material. Oh yeah, although my wife hasn't said it in words, I think she hates you for all this inspirational stuff. I'll gladly take the heat for you. B)
+Sislertx About $65 and you can get hundreds of bats and crows out of it. To buy the same amount even at $4 a piece would be insane- buy if you want, I will make mine, that way I can control the size also.
thank you for your comments, likes, and support.
you are welcome, thanks for watching!

You could mix this tutorial and the ROUS tutorial and make a killer Giant bat for pretty cheap.

Brilliant as always.
Another great video! This will be very helpful!

Horaaay!
Oh I think I like this material better. I’ve been using roofing felt for the same applications, but it’s got a tar smell to it.
this is nicer than roofing felt for sure!
When the heat gun motor is running, the gun is HOT! I keep thinking you're not gonna do it, then you do! HA! Cheers!
I tend to go overboard on things so time spent with detail to me is key
Sometimes that's the best way! Hope you are having a great Halloween Season!
o good thank you . i love your videos .o and im gonna make a video of realy REALLY cheep fake heart thingy soon :)
Thanks for the info. Great material. Oh yeah, although my wife hasn't said it in words, I think she hates you for all this inspirational stuff. I'll gladly take the heat for you. B)

If the pizza is mini then there is no need to cut it. Mmmmm .......pizza
Since that roll is about 70.00 bucks...you could save a ton of time...and just buy them.
+Sislertx About $65 and you can get hundreds of bats and crows out of it. To buy the same amount even at $4 a piece would be insane- buy if you want, I will make mine, that way I can control the size also.
