    Have you ever tested the KE4 Tour+ irons? If so, I’d like to know how they compare in terms of feel and performance to the TS2. I know the technology is quite different but the specs and appearance are similar, and there’s a significant difference in price.
    Thanks for your time and helpful reviews . Cheers

      @@aaw7511 I've hit them but have not reviewed them. They are a nice club with a traditional Forged feel. The TS-2 have a somewhat softer feel. One of the best feeling irons I have hit, even off center. I couldn't live with the top line and offset and moved to the TS-1, TS-3 in my main sets.

    Hi, excellent review. You just convince me my next set of irons will be TS2's. Thank you

      @@jasonricco5835 they out perform any expectations I had. Soft great feel, long and easy to hit. When you bring your A game they are truly amazing. Event mis hits are not horrible but even these cannot cure a shank 😉
      Could not be happier

    Love my TS-2 irons! I built mine with the Nippon modus 105 stiff flex shaft. Nice review

    Just bought the assembled set off Golfworks with the KBS 105 R shafts. My buddy in Columbus has a set and loves them. His club pro thought they were excellent

      Good combination. I'd put them up against any of the OEM models of similar construction. And at a fraction of the cost.

    Nice review. I have started to play with the Cleveland HB Turbo irons. I needed a couple where my hybrids left off. I have a complete set of hybrids but the last or highest loft was the # 7 at 31 degrees. Therefore I added a # 8 and #9 Cleveland HB Turbo irons for the higher lofts. And they are easy to hit. I like your reviews a lot and enjoy hearing about clubs that I didn't even know existed. Joe

      Thanks Joe. The Cleveland irons are hard to find around here, so I haven't tried them yet. Glad to hear that you like them. I think Cleveland is one of the best values in golf.

    I bought a set 5 through G/W. Kurokage A flex. Love them. 7 iron goes close to 150 yds and will definitely 👍 stick on a green.

    How much more forgiving is the TS2 vs the TS1? Which is more forgiving b/t TS1/2 and TE Forged? Same question for whatever clubs you are currently gaming. Since the TS1/2 have stronger lofts than say TE Forged, do you find that you hit the stronger lofts further? Or do you get about the same distance w/ just more height?

    • @fit2yougolf926
      @fit2yougolf926  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The TS-2 are noticeably more forgiving for me, as a mid-handicapper. The head is smaller, the sole is thinner, and there is less perimeter weighting. I think the TS-2 and TE forged are similar in forgiveness, with the exception of offset (the TS-2 has more). I am currently playing the TE forged because I prefer the lower amount of offset and thinner topline. I get less distance because of the weaker lofts on the TE Forged.

    Dave, ever try the Pro Soft inserts? I’m wondering if they would make the cast clubs closer to forged feel.

    • @fit2yougolf926
      @fit2yougolf926  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes I have, and don't find that they affect feel very much. They can take some sting out of a topped shot, but I haven't noticed a change in feel otherwise.

    Have you had a chance to check out the new Tour TC driver yet? I built a couple ISO-T's for customers last season with no complaints, but I'm really excited about the looks of the Tour TC. Hopefully it performs as good as it looks!

    Just purchased a set of new Nippon 1050 GH. shafts new for £27 here in uk. That’s around 38USD i believe a great bargain.

    Where are these heads made?

    • @fit2yougolf926
      @fit2yougolf926  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm fairly sure they are made in China, where most of the foundries are these days, including for the major brands. But you can check with Golfworks to be sure.

    Is there more feel than the Maltby ST-i irons?

    • @fit2yougolf926
      @fit2yougolf926  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, at least in my experience. While the Sti irons are a nice feeling cast iron, the TS-2 have a softer feel.

    Rating of TE forged?

      The TE Forged are among my favorite irons because of their performance, looks, feel and price. Definitely worthy of an eagle rating!

      Are they the same as the mcc forged? I need an 8 iron mcc and cannot find one. Would like to know if I can use a te?

    Hmmmm, would like to see them tested with xp95s.
    😢😕, had to nix my graphite experience, dang.... was liking the feel and soft feel of them on the joints.
    But, seems my best fit is mid stiff , soft tip shafts. Thing with graphite, they all flex in the middle to the tip.
    🤞🤞🤞, maybe next gen. Graphite will have set ups where they can stiff just the midsection like xps and leave a soft tip for the launch.
