The Second Coming this is true since Russell went to Williams when he moves out, replacing bottas at some point he will be in the top team where as Alexander Albon will be in red bull and lando Norris will still be in mclaren. Considering he has beaten his teammate in every quali he is actually doing quite well in Williams.

@@TomDeWeerdt1 The MGU-H actually mutes the engines and really makes them sound less interesting (though the hybrid components do improve the sound a bit). Personally I think the sound of current F2 engines are way better than that of current F1 engines, and last year's F2 engines were certainly far better than both.

I'm late on this reply. But sky put highlights of every F2 race on their website a few hours after the race. Example Google; F2 Bahrain race 1 skysports 2019. Or change the year and track. And race number (they race twice a round; race 1 is feature race, race 2 is sprint) Theyre all there on sky's site. Just the suggestions aren't great and don't show the next race so you have to Google every race individually. Even though their labeled as highlights. It's essentially the whole race 🤙

I mean Russel has been the more complete driver of the two this season but I wouldn't say that he embarrassed Norris. Admittedly he has quite a lot more points than Norris but he also wasn't as dominant as Vandoorne was for example. Norris still came second after all ;)
George has more experience having a year more of European F3 and GP3. Lando skipped GP3 and still competed for the title. If he'd gone in GP3 like Russell and Albon he'd have easily won it based on his F2 form and set him self up for an easy 2019 F2 championship.

Honestly the best thing F2 could do for promotion is broadcast their races live on the F1 TH-cam channel. I would 100% watch them and I think 100’s of thousands of others would too
think it is so entertaining to watch Artem Markelov drive! He has been driving so mature the last two seasons, and in the same time very agressive. He may be able to improve at qualifying, but he masters the overtake so well. I hope he will stay in racing.

Lando got McLaren because he was already a McLaren driver. Alex got Red Bull because he was a promising rookie who was already in his second stint in the Red Bull family. George got the Williams because he was a Mercedes driver but the only car available with a Mercedes engine was the Williams because the second seat at Racing Point was taken by the owner's son.

Very competitive grid. Top notch talents. Loved that the top 3 got into F1. Though Albon is not anymore. But I believe he'll be back. Talent like that doesn't just go away. Could have had more points and wins in his F2 season if it wasn't for the multiple DNFs he's had.
In F1 2019 they should think about adding something like junior series where you drive few races before joining F1 grid and team offers will depend on results you get

Lando got McLaren because he was already a McLaren driver.
Alex got Red Bull because he was a promising rookie who was already in his second stint in the Red Bull family.
George got the Williams because he was a Mercedes driver but the only car available with a Mercedes engine was the Williams because the second seat at Racing Point was taken by the owner's son.

Very competitive grid. Top notch talents. Loved that the top 3 got into F1. Though Albon is not anymore. But I believe he'll be back. Talent like that doesn't just go away. Could have had more points and wins in his F2 season if it wasn't for the multiple DNFs he's had.
In F1 2019 they should think about adding something like junior series where you drive few races before joining F1 grid and team offers will depend on results you get
