Impressive content, Aquarium Talk TV. Can't wait to see your next upload. I smashed that thumbs up button on your video. Keep up the fantastic work! With all the shipping challenges you faced, how do you plan to improve the transport process for such rare fish in the future?
Looking back, I wonder if you would have elected to change the water before re-shipping. Always tough calls with these types of things. Just happy to see everything worked out.
At that point you’re better off just completely rebagging with fresh water. However there was no need. You should only rebag if absolutely necessary. Thinking this fish was only in the bag for another night and everything was solid when we saw it - there was no need to create more stress for such a special fish. BUT - due to the delays that were unforeseen - we definitely should have rebagged lol
@ yes, but it’s the only one of its kind. It should be housed where it can be studied and treated. This guy, talking to the fish, “Come on, sweetheart. You can do it.” Take it too a Ichthyologist.

Thanks man! No one could have expected a plane crash and more delays. Looking back on it, maybe. But I’m just glad it survived.
I know you guys added heat packs and stuff but what about a slight water change? Wouldn’t it be beneficial?

@ ahh that makes sense!
Sympathy on the tooth been there done that 😢
Thanks!
Shouldn’t this fish be seen by some official for extinct animals, especially since this was the last one and it’s now dead?
It didn’t die. See the description of the video for part 2
