My bass are awesome. However, the journey with bass in the fish room is done for now. I got to educate people and showcase them. Amazing fish, but it’s time to move on. I am just north of Canada’s wonderland, so it’s nice to see someone do videos of the stores here in Toronto and surrounding areas as well. Yep! Not fighting, but about to. I explain more in a future video. Also, getting a baby and raising it up myself is always an option and was the plan - however due to the beauty, rarity etc of this beautiful girl, I couldn't say no. She is a 1 of 1

I had 2 silvers aros but 1 was the dominant one and they ended up killing the other one. I was told that you need 3 to keep the aggression down. I just wished the Arowanas were a bit more affordable. Markham aquarium usually has sales for Boxing Day,

You can always be on the look out for someone letting go of theirs privately. If you also have the right home for one, you’d be surprised how much people care about their fish. It’s NOT ALWAYS price. Good home means more than anything

If it’s just one? Absolutely not. I’ll explain why.. The larger the aquarium for one Asian arowana only is known to actually result in hunger strikes, jumping and flashing. Numerous arowana in one tank then yes, they need some very large aquariums. However, breeding has been most successful when two Asian Arowana are thrown into a very small aquarium and they breed with most success. There are pros and cons to everything. Without captive breeding and countries like canada being able to own them - they’d be toast. They need us more than we need them.

@@aquarium.talktv i have seen huge ponds that had asian arowanna and they were very healthy. If for some reason they go into a hunger strike in captivity then imo we should ask ourselves if its the right fish to keep. In my country this size aquarium for an asian arowanna is actually illegal. I know its a sensitive topic but for me this is not it.

I think your education is just incorrect in regards to Asian Arowana. I hate to say it and I mean it in the nicest way possible. I’m here to educate as much as I can. I’ll be making more videos and your input has made me want to research more. Hunger strikes happen in 25,000 gallon ponds as well. If it wasn’t for captive breeding this fish would have been extinct a very long time ago. They are now also repopulation Asian Arowana and releasing back into their native habitat. Again - my job is to educate and I do have a passion in educating the hobby. I do appreciate your support though and input. It’s extremely valued.

Why do people tan? It essentially makes the colours come out by burning the scales of the fish. Although it doesn’t hurt the fish if done correct, there can be complications though for sure.
