I have this camera and never used it. Bought it in 2016 Im just starting my channel and I refuse to buy another camera right now so I’m glad to know it’s still usable
it will be perfect for that!! you could also buy a remote trigger from amazon for like 15 or 20 so that when your recording your videos you can start and stop from anywhere
I still use this for still but am thinking of using it for video too! The main drawback is that is that the low light performance is REALLY rough, especially for macro etc.

my three top lens when using this camera were the 50mm 1.8 by canon , the 24mm macro lens by canon and the 85 1.8 by meike! they were amazing on this camera!

It’s a great choice especially for starting a TH-cam channel it doesn’t have to many things to distract and produces great images and video

@@isabellemuschamp3650 I would recommend the 24mm. its wide enough so that you can vol with it and is a macro lens so it will easily focus close ups
Can I use RF lenses with my T5i. I was considering getting the RF 16mm f2.8 lens but i wasn’t sure if it was compatible.
