This is the "Extended Edit" version, released on Flexx Records in 2006. The original version is about 5 minutes long, from the LP "We Are The Crazy Gang" released in 1983
Ah an 8 minute track. When I first listened to this song and the chorus kicked in around 2 minutes 40 I hoped the track wouldn’t end in under an extra minute like many songs do. When I checked and saw a total of 8 something minutes damn it was the cherry on top!
USA went with punk and new wave.. Italy evolved their disco music into this futuristic intelligent thought provoking music.. I can just image the colorful characters of the Italy italo disco Scene.. I bet it was loads of fun
@@poupipouti3847 Perhaps the high pitched children-like-choir reminds him of "Another brick in the wall?", other than that I also don't see any connection whatsoever. And there's nothing Moroder in this.
First time I ever heard this song, brilliant.
This tune is ridiculously amazing. It's like the definition of the word melancholy (but in a good way). Claudio Simonetti was an absolute genius.
Worst thing about this song is it ends.
A very advanced production for its time.
OMG!!!... Great tune!!!... YEAAHHHH!!!..
They're still active in Italy, some years ago they opened a dance school in Rome!
I love this song so much... I miss the eighties.. Music was the purview of artists not executives
I just discovered it because Dtekk played it in pub and i was fucking blown away. I cant believe it is from 1983 :oo
"I can't wait to become a man
then I'll choose where to go every Sunday"
Damn. This song knows how I feel.

"no-one else seems to understand
I can't even defend myself, so sad"
I'm with ya. The world needs more conscious electro. More vocoder songs about hating religion and school!
I stumbled in, and love it. Great track.

This song was meant for us tonight.. Alan and Mrs. C. Xoxo♡

Crazy song. The sound its so fresh to this 2016.
Must-have on any 80s playlist, imho.
It continued on until the 80s. Mainly with the Italian disco scene and this is indeed Italo-Disco style!
I have no ideia how I go here but I'm really glad I did

@Pferd Schild by "link" I was meaning "similitudes" (no "url" link)

Ну странно было бы в 83-м другой услышать. Тогда все на FM синтезе сидели, а у него как раз такой металлический звук.
