Oh and your counterbalanced rods are the best. I don't have the punch rod but the JWR is amazing. I actually took a roll of lead to counterbalance other rods.

I have a cashion CRT 7’6” heavy I use it for light punching and use a 25 flouro leader. Fishing cattails and sparse milfoil
