  • The Tunisian crochet Saloniki stitch is a beautiful ribbed stitch, which is very soft, kind of stretchy, and doesn't almost curl.
    The basic stitches required for the Saloniki stitch are the Tunisian Simple Stitch and the Tunisian Full Stitch.
    Watch out for the return pass because that is not a standard Tunisian return pass.
    The step-by-step photo tutorial for this stitch is available on my blog here

    Браво!!!Много добра лекция!!! Професионално,бавно. с внимателно броене на бримките се показва точно спецификата на плетката! Който се занимава е плетиво спокойно може да си обогати колекцията от модели , цвят на преждата и знанията съответно!!!

    I luv this tutorial! Can't wait to try it. Could I use it for the first and last rows of a dishcloth to reduce the curl?
    And if so, how many rows of it should I use?

    • @RaffamusaDesigns
      @RaffamusaDesigns  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, maybe for the beginning and end of a dishcloth, I'd go for something like the Tunisian reverse stitch, but that doesn't have a ribbed look though... Anyhow, of either stitch, about 5 rows should be enough to reduce the curling :)

      @RaffamusaDesigns  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, I'm sorry, I'll definitely try to go slower next time.
      After the Tss, you basically make 2 Tunisian full stitches.

    • @HA-zg1jc
      @HA-zg1jc 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@natford8271 I just made my first square using this stitch and it turned out beautifully. I used Stylecraft Special Chunky yarn and tried 3 different hook sizes - 6mm is suggested but I found the 8mm hook to be the best (it's not very chunky yarn, only slightly heavier than aran weight) so I'd guess you could use whatever hook size you like, depending on your yarn weight and the drape and gauge you're after! :)
