- For several years I have been following the Angler Qwest pontoons, particular the Pro Troll models, as I have found it a fascinating idea to build a trolling rig out of a pontoon or a tri-toon.
While fishing Saginaw Bay with my good friend Capt. Lance Valentine, this past weekend, I finally had an opportunity to fish out of one of these magnificent rigs!

That is the best fishing pontoon boat I’ve seen! I haven’t seen anything like that down south. I like the way the rod holders are setup along the side and all the space in the back.
You bet, Man! It is incredible!
Hello my Brother. I have seen you in a while. The pontoon is an awesome rig. I went crappie fishing in one in Belleville before. Nice. Thanks for sharing as always!
It has been a long time Bro! Been a crazy year for me...lol This was no regular pontoon, that thing was a trolling monster of a rig!
@@TeamJesusOutdoors yeah seeing the entire video, it was not just a pontoon. That rig was equipped.
Thank you. That’s the first time I have seen the inside gunnels and layout of the angler quest.
That whole binary wall design is pretty cool!
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching, friend!
Nice video..❤
Thanks 🤗
I would expect it to be a rough ride in 20 knot winds. I hope it has a built in grill. lol
I was surprised at how smooth the ride was. Unfortunately no grill ...lol
Would make a nice river character boat.. they can't take a big wave nothing over 6ft . Really nice boat I would love to build one only way I could afford that . I see a lot on the river
No one needs to be in 6 footers! LOL
Only way I could afford it too. LOL
@@TeamJesusOutdoors I was on the Detroit river in a 12ft boat with 6ft waves lol 60 mph wind this spring.. I know I know but only chance I had to go .I laid that little boat on it's side 3 times . I have a 16ft now lol
I retire next year! What's on your current retirement boat list? Thanks!
If I were purchasing my retirement boat today, it would be a 17 to 18 foot deep v aluminum rig, with a minn kota ulterra and 4 or 5 graphs, including forward facing. I wish a Angler Quest could be an option for me, but it's just a bit cost prohibitive for me.
