I'm extremely curious on how that boat would work for trolling salmon on lake Michigan. On calm days I have no doubt it would be ideal. But my curiosity is on those days that start out with 1 footers and end up with the ride back to the dock in 4 footers? Also wonder how much it catches wind and really puts a workout on an i pilot trolling motor to keep it locked on a north setting trolling at 2.3mph?
hey kaleb thanks for the review. I only see two things that could make it better. The couches up front if they were convertibles they could flip up when not in use and down to sleep on. Also on the back flip flop seat, it would be cool if it slid to behind the drivers helm to make a daybed type seat for nights. I like the trolling towers. It is cool that Angler 'Qwest is addressing the species specific platforms with the dual livewells.
This review was very well done. Seems that AQ did a great job of putting together a serious fishing boat. The layout and open space of a pontoon will spoil many of the "traditional catfish boat" guys. Should easily double as a freshwater striper boat. Nice !
the only major screw up on this boat to keep it from being the perfect catfish boat, is the front fence should stop at the end of the couches, and have a open free area up front for catching bait, otherwise , this boat has almost achieved perfect design perfection, and a nice t top would also be a cool addition, as well, other wise spectacular job!
Great video. Is the trolling motor a self deploying model? How does it work with the front gate? Do you have to open the gate prior to deploying the motor?
Great video. Looking at a Striper version of this boat. Drove a catfish version at a dealer and it wouldn’t pick up bottom on depth finder at higher speeds- even 20-25mph. Guy said transducer wasn’t mounted low enough. When I looked, there was only about 3 more inches it could go down. He said pontoons have trouble reading at higher speeds, but I have a different pontoon now that reads depth and marks fish fine at high speeds. I did notice Quest transducer bracket was high do to the drain in the bottom of pontoon. Do you have trouble marking fish and bottom at 25mph? I love the boat but this is a concern for me since I look for summer stripers at higher speeds. Thanks for your help.
what is the length? 22 or 24?, livewell is big , but needs rounded corners ,, also there is isnt much space with that cooler back there , they could improve this by that eliminating that basically useless box in front of the motor ,,,,
Does it have a full enclosure? Can the livewell double as a bed? Where do you put the grill? Im not buying one unless i can fish out of one for a day or 2.
Looks like a perfect blend of comfort, speed, and fish ability. It’s in the the top 3 choices for my next boat purchase. Great review.
i know I'm kinda off topic but does anybody know of a good site to stream newly released series online ?

Sun,rain or snow its all ways time to fish and that boat is nicely setup
I want to see you catch a fish so we can see how easy/hard landing a big cat is in that boat.

best fishing pontoon setup I've seen...thanks for sharing
what are anchoring options? will a spot locked trolling motor hold it in place with some wind? what is loading/launching solo like?

I'd like to see an answer this question as well. I'm interested in striper version too.
