I just bought this chopper. It's used same reciever too!. The control rods have seen better days. Looks like I have to go over the swash and and start from zero but it's a challenge. Time to hit the books! Yeah, I'm a rebel.
Even your video is from 2013 and we now are in 2020, your video is by far the best I found about this helicopter, since like you at that time, I am new to the flying of Rc helicopters, and since they still sell this chopper in 2020 it is the one I want, and your video made the choice easier for me :) so thank you. I have just got one of a (popular internet auction site) after seeing your vid..I have had a few RC helicopters over the years from 4CH to 6CH but have been from unheard of makes, the end result the parts are no more available. I got mine second hand but is well dialled in! and I am glad they still sell them in 2020! Like you I can't do all the 3D stuff yet but just want to fly it and have that Wind up thing instead of opening up and heading to the moon! I am waiting for it to arrive with many spare parts! Just loved this, all real and nothing fancy. My doctor suggested the same and boy does it help with essential tremors, will looking for this heli based on its stability. Many helis in my collection and all have their own quirks. some are take off, land repair. Kia kaha

Keep on flying, get a ikon and start trying crazy stuff, I finally got up the courage to get my pro inverted last week. Used the bail out like 7 times. Great investment buying another one for the dominator.
Wow! This is the kind of video I like, simple flying. I have had an EXI 450 or a while, but it no where as stable as that. But I realized very quickly that too much slop on the rotor head makes this thing near impossible to fly. I do great on the demo, but the actual chopper is way harder, and that's probably the reason. But I am upgrading to Align products and a flybarless head in the future when I find the funds.
Great video, i hae a kds 450 innova and it fly ok. But i dont fly it hard or in 3d ,just some cruising up in the sky somtimes in idle up on L.Rate. Next time a t rex since it,s a helikopter all "talk about" They are to ekspensive to just crash so it,s more affordable just fly them easy around . I have a kamera under it,s skids and film a bit here and there. =)

Nice heli. My only try at helis ended in a weed wacker move and a bucket full of parts. So back to the planes.
I am getting 5:30 consistently and putting just under 1300 mAh back in during charge.
