I did this with my friend. We had a rule that we could only ask evidence-based questions twice (so it's not easy) and you had to ask ability questions to figure out what kind of ghost the wheel chose for the other person. I think it could be expanded upon by incorporating separate solo runs where you have to ask the other person questions based on what it did during that run before they figured out the ghost type.
I love watching Insym play phasmo because it's so educating! My fiance and I play phasmo for a couple of hours each week with a friend couple that live in a different state, and we call it our "spooky virtual double date night" 🥰 Hearing "it's not X ghost because of X" is so helpful and it's great when I can pull that knowledge out when we're playing! we surprisingly were able to complete the challenge this week, even though we didn't think we could

0:30 Ridgeview is actually my favorite for no evidence no sanity because there's two looping spots and the best hiding spot is near the door (fridge). AND there's so many corners for breaking LOS
btw the air ball ghost event is the only ghost event in the game that the ghost can do without being at the location, so the ghost can be on the other side of the map and use it on you without the ghost being on you

They should update that makes Goryo like a reverse Shade, if you're in the ghost room increases activity but can't do a ghost event outside of the room.
Why remake Goryo? They should add a few new ghosts and make one of them have that behavior. The game is missing some slavic ghosts that could be entertaining.

It was very easy for me. I figured them out instantly except for when The Mimic got us. ✅Hantu ☠Il Mimo ✅Thaye ✅Raiju Instantly got Hantu going 95 BPM which is quite close to The Twins at its slow speed of 100 BPM. Fuse box starts on makes the house temperature start high, making Hantu very slow. Instantly got Thaye because it is noticeably very fast. Instantly got Raiju because I dropped my EMF at the front door.
you can still use the EMF board to potentially spot Poltergeists (polter ability is 3 throws, which can register as a 3 to 9 spike, and anything >=5 has to be polter with no evidence 🤔) and Twins (twin interaction is 2 events with a very low time between them, which can produce uniquely shaped lines) I identified a poltergeist in this challenge using this :D
A jump >= 5 on no evidence doesn't have to be polter. Two object throws within the same second on the monitor can be an instant jump of 6, and still look like a clean line (a throw registers between 1-3 on the board, and a double 3 activity has the same slope). A throw and a door touch close enough together can register as a spike of 5. Basically every ghost can make the appearance of a twinteraction happen on the board if they're active enough, but twins do it more reliably.

So a throw (EMF 3) registers as 2 +/-1, which can be a range of 1, 2, or 3. Two throws within the same second reporting window on the monitor can theoretically show as a straight jump of 6 without a compound curve on the line. Or it can show as a jump of 5 with a compound curve (3+2). I've had more than my fair share of normal ghosts duplicate a twinteraction on the board through various means, even Insym and psychohypnotic say regularly that board twinteractions aren't always twins, but twins do it more often.
I got lucky on my first two runs of this, two phantoms in a row. The next time I had luck was when I got the twins... 8 attempts later. Great challenge for practicing hunts and unique ghost behavior though, even more so after not playing for eight plus months because the difference from when I last played and when I returned a week ago is just bewildering. Reminds me of trying to figure it out first-hand like when the Moroi was introduced and I love it, so watching you helps with getting back into it.
This happened to me earlier today. I walked into the starter house with me and my friends. Intermediate difficulty and we found the bone and the mirror. Didn’t open any doors or even have the chance to turn power on. Used the mirror once to find the ghost room and immediately got hunted. Looked at my sanity and had 75 sanity. I guessed what it was and guess what it was? A demon. And i thought it was a ghost event because it seemed too early to hunt😂
I got really lucky doing this challenge. 1st round was a Deogen. 2nd round was a Thaye, I just hid while it sped around the house lol And 3rd was a Revenant! I died to the rev cuz ya know rev things but still completed the challenge in 3 hunts only!

I got a banshee in the first game.The goryo in the second game.The yurei in the third game. The most annoying one was banshee because after 11 whispers she screamed 🙄🙄. I was like 'what the hell is going on'. I long ruled it out after 7 to 8 whispers but I wasn't getting enywhere and suddenly after the 11th whisper she screamed and I took a sigh of relief 😮💨 😮💨. In the very first game it was so annoying that i had to close and play the second later onwards 😂😂😂.

For me it's getting a mechanical understanding of the game combined with experience. Actually understanding how the game mechanics and the ghosts work takes away a lot of the fear of the unkown, and playing it more gets you used to the different ghost interactions and events. You learn the games limits, when you are safe and when you are not, and once you've seen something for the 100th time it stops scaring you. For me at least it didn't take too long for the game to go from a very scary game to a very mechanically interesting game. Also the fact there is no jumpscare on death helps ease tension a lot.
I think I know enough to not be that scared of the game, when I’m playing multiplayer my friends can just be sitting in van and I’d be less scared it’s just single player is so much more scary for NO REASON
True chad (cheese) strat is to just wait for hunt at the start and identify the ghost based off speed and stuff, works for some ghosts and can be quick and easy (with a few deaths)
You're lost in the sauce my friend, spirit box does absolutely nothing with moroi on no evidence because the moroi only curses players through the spirit box when they give an actual response (evidence). And since you're 0 sanity, you have no idea whether you get moroi cursed or not even if you hear a paramic whisper.
This should be round x10 for the actual difficulty. I have one set up that's almost the same and it's at 10.02. However i feel i may have mine harder than this.

when we guesses yokai the ghost actually changed forms from standing to crawling kinda so that was very weird.

3:49 why did insym conclude that it isnt a spirit?
He smudged the ghost at 1:50, and it started a new hunt at 3:42. A spirit can't hunt for 3 minutes after being smudged, so you can rule that out.
@Insym 17:58 was that not a Yurei ability there as it closed the door I know other ghosts can close doors but you had that on fully open

Spirit Box is good on this challenge for figuring out Moroi/not Moroi.

The video is pretty quite. I had to put on 100% volume, even though my system volume is high (70%)
