I play the banjo too, and I’d love to see Ian play his banjo! 😆
Great interview! I’ve never seen anybody else get this vital information out of him. Thanks!!! ❤️❤️❤️
These are SO much fun!! Thanks Ian. I have been depressed because the weather is changing here in October and I am having to give up sitting on the porch, painting. Now maybe I will paint what I see inside my house.
To misquote the late great Eric Morecombe 'you only draw what you see, but not necessarily in the right place.' (feel free to use that if you wish). Love your videos.
What wonderful paintings, they have such a sense of fun, which is just what we need at the moment. I really enjoyed and learned so much from your Layers of Looking course, you are a very gifted and inspirational teacher. I am looking forward to the online workshops you mention in the video. I hope we don’t have to wait too long. Stay safe.
This is absolutely great! Thank you and thanks, Ian!
Just watched this again on this dull October afternoon..and it’s really cheered me up!
That’s fantastic, Anne! So happy to hear it. Hope the sun shines for you soon :)
Well that was fun skipping about to make the calls last.Ha!
These drawings would be like the best realtor pics ever if he ends up selling his home at some point.
I don’t think it’s a 40x40 inch sketchbook. Isn’t it 40x40 centimeters? That’s about 16x16 inches.
Yes, it’s 40cm, not inches. He usually uses A3 paper, and that’s in that size range.
He is so patient with this lady who ALWAYS mispronounces his name. Lol
hahaha! I'm so sorry for mispronouncing Ian's name! Why in the 3 years that we have been friends has he never corrected me??? He says it doesn't matter but I will make an effort to pronounce correctly from now on :)
I regret saying anything. You do a great job. I ordered the book you edited with him. Can't wait to see it😊
