What I love most about Alex is how deeply existential in his thinking he is while mastering something as practicality and logic-focused as business. An incredibly rare duality.
Alex has done a lot of epic shit by a relatively young age, people from his kind of upbringing rarely unlearn the fallacies and learn new thinking patterns to create new content. I think you can only do that once you've dropped the emotional baggage associated with different fronts of existence.
I can't believe I watched 4 hours of this guy talking and I wasn't able to click away. It's nice to hear a different view and his courage to be able to express it, considering how much of a public figure he is.
Graham, my favorite thing about the ICH is the humility with which you approach all of your guests. Alex is obviously brilliant, but it's something I've noticed with every single episode you make, regardless of who it's with. Although many people in your situation would be arrogant, you always treat every guest with utmost respect and seem genuinely interested in gleaning knowledge from their perspective. I really admire that.
Really didn't expect to wake up on a Sunday and have my mind blown by a $100,000,000 lumberjack on a podcast for the second time in two weeks but here I am
This man is so insightful. As a child and adolescent psychiatrist if more people had the insight to why they have kids like he does, many children would be better off. Not only that but every thought and action he has seems to have depth of thought and purpose. I’m watching and learning my guy…
What’s crazy is that each person here has real depth to them Alex of course has Admirable perspective and knowledge, Graham is so humane and empathetic. Jack is a very humble and appreciative person, and Alex is very thoughtful and brave for being the topic of discussion. In those moments he displays confidence. Thank you guys for this podcast.
Appreciate you Alex for being vulnerable, during that second part of the podcast, it made me think through some of my limitations, like Alex said the topic/discussion is transferrable to other areas of life. Though I don't agree with everything Alex says I can respect his willingness and great efforts to make the principles/framework digestible.
Read his book too if you’re into business at all!!!!! 10/10 or if you’re a visual person he has a small course of videos on the same topic on his website
I love episodes like this where it PULLS BACK the curtain on the mindset and mentality of people who are determined and successful. Keep up the great work Jack, Graham, & Alex!
I’ve just started listening, but I love the conversation about education. I taught high school science for 2 years, and my husband is currently a science teacher. My parents started a charter school in my home town… they’ve just started their 12th year. My dad was the superintendent for special education in the public schools and my mom is a speech and language pathologist. They saw that education needed to be outside of the box. And it caters to each student to ensure their success. It uses the model of IEPs (individual education plans) for each student, and we have kids in 10th grade getting their associate’s degree (for free) and moving at their own pace OR taking the time they need to succeed. It’s beautiful and I’m so proud of them.
This is the best. And really appreciated Alex opening up about his weight at the end. There's no judgement over here, we're all works in progress, one way or another. Best of luck man, you got this.
Alex, As someone who has weighed over 300 pounds and now sits around 185 I DID obsess over my intake, fitness etc for years and years. It took a great coach over the past year to help me dial everything in. I am still dropping a little bit of weight here and there but I use my fitness pal every day, I workout every day I'm scheduled to without fail. Those things become habit but I will admit it has come down to the fear of feeling how I did when I was that size. To each their own, but I personally feel like you have to be obsessed with some of these things. Best of luck man.
Right there with you man. The fear is something that fuels my habit of working out and staying on track. Everyone runs on something internal or external, it can be anxiety, anger, responsibilities there is always something that will be the energy to pursue a goal. Of course these terms have different definitions to each individual. Anyways. Best of luck ! Keep at it man!
The part where Alex gives the other Alex permission to obsess over it, at least initially til the healthy lifestyle becomes habit, really hit home for me. I was someone who obsessed over fitness got to 6% body fat. When ppl were telling me i was a fitness nut and was being obsessive i let that get to me and went back to bad habits. I can relate to all the excuses big Alex was making. But Alex hormozi wasn't having it, he's heard it all, coming from the fitness industry.

I also came to the same conclusion but my logic getting there was probably drastically different from others who thought about it. I tried using science to get to that conclusion and it sort of worked. When Alex mentioned it also baffled me. He just worded it and brought it all together

At some point I was afraid they were going to shut down your questions, but thankfully they continue to respond, I watched so many episodes and none was as helpful to me to make me write a comment but this one, 10/10.

Glad part two came out. He hit the nail on the head about eating when bored. I struggled with this for years. Doing intermittent fasting was a great tool for me to learn when I was actually hungry or not.
Alex is the first person I've heard explain kids the way I've felt about them. I know I could be a great parent - I hear it from others all the time, trying to convince me to do it. My perspective is that I could have so much more of an impact on the world if my focus is on giving to everyone vs giving to one or a few of my own children. Being 100% candid, I think part of that is a control thing as well. I'm so afraid of having children that turn out to be, what I would believe, bad people, or just people that aren't doing anything to help society or others. I can control MY impact much more than I can control anyone else's.

He looked a little worn by the end of the podcast, but I hope he realized the value he provided to his viewers. Thanks for another great episode.
tru
Two hugely successful individuals talking for multiple hours while we get to be a bug on the wall soaking up their knowledge for no cost. There is so much value in Graham's and Alex's channels.
Jack too.......I think he put a load of work into the beginnings.
@@Dancing_Alone_wRentals agreed!
@@daytonmiller-investingenth7675 I wrote the comment during a commercial. At the end of the podcast Jack made some top shelf comments. He made my comment come alive.
Have a super great week coming up. What are you watching?
(I watch scrap metal prices...gas goes up..scrap goes down. Scrap down means two major buyers are not buying).
Thank you, thank you thank you for bringing Alex back. His first time on the ICH changed my life and this changed my life even more. I appreciate all of this advice and knowledge being shared. Thank you Alex Nava for being so transparent. I’m sure so many lives will be changed after watching/listening to this episode.
Alex Hormozi CHANGED my life. Thank you so much guys for hosting this interview with him! $100M OFFERS is amazing and love the podcast as always.
Don’t think Alex enjoyed the last 20 minutes of this podcast by his body language but I’m sure he helped a lot of people with his wisdom
He said it broke his heart. I think it was very meaningful for him.
I noticed that too
Great 2nd Interview.
I agree. Alex did not enjoy that. Second half of the podcast wasted talking about the other Alex’s weight problem. Smh
@@sennaimikaele8386 was not a waste
Love Alex and his philosophy on life, great podcast guys. Just a comment as a full-time dad, it's a 24/7 job. I do believe as the kid grows up, you could free up a little more time through schooling.👍🏽
Alex's goal of being a modern day king Solomon.. makes a lot of sense with what he said last time.. a philosopher.. "lover of wisdom". I love Alex.. and even as a believer.. I love him still.. glad that he is back.. he is definitely someone I look up to.
Honestly, just keep him on as a regular or 3rd host. This guy rules.
Get him on millennial
Money , it sucks without kev
Why would he?
He's got a huge company to run.
@@parma2414 oh yeah absolutely. I doubt he would do it. It would be cool though.
@@SpacesSchool best comment that would be amazing 👏 yea I've paused watching it. Alex can talk about business growth internally and money hacks
I feel blessed to live in times when such conversations are accessible to me. Thank you for making this possible - Graham, Jack, Alex and Alex
Alex is by far the best guest EVER
Props to Alex for opening up about his weight issues and I’m genuinely rooting for you to make the change!
This is the most valuable podcast episode I have ever listened to.
Wow 1:34:00 got heavy. You just start. This felt like public therapy session. Praying for Alex to start and keep at it.
literally... lmao
It was awesome watching Alex help Alex with his diet issues. I really enjoyed the episode.
Dang, listening to Alex Hormozi talk about fitness and weight loss while I’m struggling at the gym for the first time in over 2 years makes me super pumped! Assistant Alex, if you’re reading this, let’s start on our fitness journey together! We’re all rooting for you! 💪
As a Muslim myself I will never understand ppl who attack some1 for having a different opinion. Even if some1 is disrespectful (which Alex isn't) towards Ur religion, u shouldn't reciprocate that by going after them. With that being said, gr8 episode jack + Graham, love having Alex on!
Props, we need more of that
Yes. Someone else not believing does not invalidate anyone else’s right to believe.
@@misa5941 and vice-versa
found alex’s content a month ago and ive been hooked ever since. his two interviews on grahams show are the best interviews ive seen. he gives an insight ive never heard before. and his perception of mind set shifts and belief statements… damn, glad i found this guy.
For whenever you invite him on next time, can we get Leila hormozi as well? I think it would be great to hear her side of this growth since they did it together!
I fail to picture them together somehow... no idea what the dynamics would be
@@ypey1 the more reason they should get it done! I think the episode would be mind blowing
Do This!
@@ypey1 she has a TH-cam channel
Won't happen they'll trip over each others lies
1:01:30 I've said that exact line before, it's crazy to hear someone say your exact thinking that they also independently thought of.
what's so crazy abt it ?
I also came to the same conclusion but my logic getting there was probably drastically different from others who thought about it. I tried using science to get to that conclusion and it sort of worked. When Alex mentioned it also baffled me. He just worded it and brought it all together
The entire thing was 10/10. Watching Alex’s convo unfold & find the realization of the food issue was so dope.
Props to him for being brave enough to open up & share. Takes a lot of courage
I can tell Alex is a great listener as well and I have a feeling that’s also a large part of his success.
Yesssss another 2 hour podcast with my two favorite youtubers of all time!!!!
enjoy!!
The first episode with Alex is the only podcast I have EVER listened to twice. Thank you for listening to the people and bringing him back on 🙌🏼
Iced coffee hour is the #1 podcast! great job Jack and Graham!
What a finale.... great Convo and then such a positive problem solving with Alex.... Alex our whole family loves you and we are rooting for you bud. We have felt with the same stuff.
My man hormozi is finally blowing up!!! 🤣. I fell I love with his business mind about 2 yrs ago and always wondered if anyone would feel the same about him if they watched. I subbed to him AND his wife!! She's equally impressive!!
“Change occurs when the fear of staying the same exceeds the pain of change” wooow!!
I love this guy, He's definitely on my wavelength
So happy Alex is back 🙌 "why wouldn't I start today" the mind shift is phenomenal
ALEX. Thank you for opening up about the weight conversation. It helped me open my eyes to my internal issue
Alex definately got bored of answering other Alex's weight loss problems, but honestly there was soo much value in that conversation!! It relates to all aspects of life !!!!
Even crosses his arms out-of boredom lmao
Thank you Alex, I also feel pretty much the same, thank you for pursuing your questions with such a knowledgeful audience. At some point I was afraid they were going to shut down your questions, but thankfully they continue to respond, I watched so many episodes and none was as helpful to me to make me write a comment but this one, 10/10.
I would love to see Alex document his weight loss journey. I feel like it could make him money, hold him accountable, and potentially help others struggling with the same thing. Sounds like a win-win.
59:20, I thought that everyone was asking these questions to themselves... Glad to be in the same boat. I'm trying to look for an answer to these questions since I was 13.
Alex is a 10/10; I really appreciate how clear and respectful is able to explain his point of view.
Thank you guys for these amazing conversation's.
Kudos to Alex - camera guy for being able to speak about his insecurities and and Alex H for be able to break so many things down. I need a whole book about how Alex H thinks and what he does for his habits
I respect Alex for being open and putting himself out there.
Becoming a parent has made me 100x better at business. With responsibility comes drive. It’ll change your world brotha.
For cameraman alex, you can be confident to try, without having the confidence that you can get results. Not being ocnfident you will succeed doesn't disqualify you form being able to try
Props to Alex (sound booth) for being as open as he was and props to all of you for being comfortable with such a difficult conversation. It’s very easy to take personal improvement discussions to heart in the wrong way but this was very mature. How refreshing
Get Alex Becker on the podcast!
This podcast had me so happy, I have met both Alex’s and was shocked both times they popped up on my TH-cam.
To see the talk between the two of them really made my day thank you guys for such great content.
Hey Quinton! Thanks so much for the positive words (: glad you enjoyed the conversation I certainly got a lot from it I can apply to my life!
@@AlexanderNava Thank you for having the courage to ask the question, I know it helped me and many others.
I’m glad to see you have done such amazing things crazy seeing you go from helping Fro on a photography podcast to this !!!! Best of luck
I think one of the best takeaways from this is to see when he answers, he says who or where he got the philosophy of his foundation from and how he’s interpreted and molded it to be applicable in his own life. The point? Read and acquire knowledge, and when applied, it slowly ages into wisdom 😁
I love the guy not in the room he is the best! He is so honest and genuine at all times.
Graham plz change the thumbnail
It looks like the old video being reuploaded
Its confusing for people
Hope you take it positively
By the way thanks for bringing alex back on podcast 😜
Thank you so much for having Alex on again. Definitely one of my favorite episodes!
It's staggering that we get access to this level and type of thinking for free.
He’s backkk👏🏾 I thoroughly enjoyed the 1st podcast glad he could make it back so soon
"If I were to create a school around a skill, the school would be doing the skill."
That makes a lot of sense. Why would an athlete train in a way that isn't specific to their sport? Why would they learn about how to play the game without actually playing it?
Thank you guys for asking comprehensive questions and follow-up questions. Thank you Alex for telling the truth. I fail to articulate the ways you have improved my life by sharing the truth.
Glad he’s back on. 3rd time wouldn’t be uncalled
Alex Hormozi is just incredibly wise beyond his years. I really love his perspective on everything! Thanks for having him on again.
Another 2 hour podcast??!!
You should be charging money for this gold haha
Now isn't the time to be getting married or starting a family unless you have the proper resources to do it
Alex being able to speak about something so personal is amazing! Great job Alex!
The last 3rd of both of the podcasts was GOLDEN!!!
Niche education that requires action. That's so good. Loved hearing part 1. Super excited to hear the rest of this conversation.
So many things that Alex has said really resonate with me. This might be the best podcast I've ever watched.
Wow, you guys actually made it happen! So excited to watch this one, Alex is so full of wisdom! 🤩
