"Crawling" Drum Lesson Breakdown - Time Stamps Included
0:41 - We begin the drum lesson by playing along with Linkin Park's music and the drum set
1:12 - We slow it down and begin by breaking down the drum beat in easier to understand chunks
6:20 - This song might be challenging because of the 16th notes but like I always say, take it slow and slowly build speed into it and you'll be playing it flawlessly in no time. In this part we break down the quick section of hi-hat cymbals
9:19 - Now we cover how to play the hi hat cymbal drags that you can hear during this part of the song
12:02 - Note: If this part is too challenging for you right now, the last thing I want is for you to quit and not learn the song at all. As a quick solution, you have the option of switching to 2 hands which gets it to sound the same and you can always come back to it once you practice the single hand version a little more

Great video! As LP is my one of my favorite bands I'm glad for each song you teach us from them. I was wondering if drum tabs would help anyone in your videos? First - as you always do short parts - it would fit in the top left corner of each video I guess. Second if the tabs are downloadable you could add some information on them: like which hand to start, heavy hit hat etc. so just some extras you also mention in your videos. I don't know how much extra work this would be for you (but for me I like to print the hard tabs sometimes + rewinding on an iPad is shitty, lol). Would this help anybody else? Then just upvote the comment I would suggest.

drum music certainly helps some, most however do far better in live lessons with me compared to reading music. I may add this feature later on, but for now like the aspect of free videos, w/ the option of weekly drum lessons with me.

Seems a bit missing here.. for instance, the hi hat is in a semi closed position.. it's ok if you're always playing like this but what about any hi hat swells? Camera is missing from the hi hat pedal. how are you keeping it so closed in the intro vs the verse section when you need to depress the hi hat pedal?
