Nahh, I am not Sure that IT was best for him that He Had pushed enough. Realize that he Had sung the same depressive Songs from 2001 until his death. Can you Imagine what it does to your brain If you sing "These wounds will not heal" for a decade and longer? Right you believe IT and the Depression will Not get a Chance to become better, in psychology so called "selffullfilling Prophecy". For him IT would have been better to write new Songs with more positive Lyrics BUT which Fan wants to hear that?! Yes, for Sure not so many fans so this would have been a real Dilemma for this band. And yes with your Message that you are lucky he Had pushed hard until the end you also have a responsiblity for the dead of chester!

As a person in my 60's... I never FELT any of the "Boomer ?ROCK?? I grew up on like Linkin Park. One of a kind sound, once in a lifetime legacy band. I feel grateful to have had them ..in my lifetime.. and as a significant backdrop to life the past 2+ decades. Amazing musician, technician, performers... they are so tight [even to audiophile terms] in critical listening mode with such rich mixes... sense of unlimited dynamics. *Beyond sound, becoming light...

This was my wife and I last time seeing LP live. This was with Metallica closing if I’m not mistaken.
