My most recent manga purchase was 1 to 13 of dr stone for a steal at only 45 for the lot posted was so delighted to get it as I wanted to read it so bad but the only volume missing was volume 2 so I have to pick it up soon and binge read on a weekend off

@@AtrociousJake I’m in Ireland so manga is not very common in my city so I’ll have to pick it up online or when I get to a forbidden planet next I’d love to use right stuff but it’s so expensive to import at the moment

In my country, buying original manga is quite expensive as there are almost no shops like these where I can go and pick it up physically (apart from 1 or 2 which have a very little collection). Mostly I have to order through third party online pages which is a pain as they charge more than the original price. Still struggling and collecting ;(
Anyway it was nice to see you go in Barnes & Noble shops and pick up what comes in your mind. And I can totally relate where you buy more even though you vowed not to buy more than one xD

Loved this adventure of yours haha. I also like to go on each and every bookstore that its on my way. It would be awesome if on the last seconds of the video there was a short video of all you purchased. But great content.
I super super considered doing a vast overview at the end, but I eventually said no to it because the video was already 20+ minutes & the May monthly manga haul video is coming in a couple days LOL.

I'll have to give Catch These Hands a shot. I *LOVED* Adachi & Shimamura and it's surprisingly difficult to find *good* yuri/shoujo ai.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaand Mizuno and Chayama now, too, apparently.
After a little bit of research this AM, Mizuno and Chayama is a omnibus adaptation of the two-volume series. It looks to have a lot of deep discussions so it has a much more serious tone compared to Catch These Hands / Adachi & Shimamura

I have been trying to find a full collection of high-quality Fullmetal alchemist manga and it’s hard to find an entire set I don’t want to get an incomplete set up at that and trying to find physical copies of Haikyu at least the specific ones that I need is proving harder than I thought
Haikyu is for sure getting more sparce by the day.
For high-quality FMA, go either for the Deluxe editions I show in the video or get the box set!

I recently ended up buyin a lot of manga online, got all of Chainsaw man up to volume 11 and other stuff. Anyway, just wanted to say I've been watching videos about manga and stumbled upon yours and really enjoyed it. It's a very fun idea for a video and I mean a nice way to pass the time during a work trip. Also I might check out "Love me for Who I am," I never heard of it before but it sounds good. I'll check out more of your videos too tho, good stuff!

I will always recommend land of the lustrous if you haven’t read it. It’s easily the best manga I’ve ever read and it’s really underrated. The last volume drops this month too

gosh this is such a tough answer. I think I'd have to go with the DanMachi spinoff Sword Oratoria! DanMachi was the first anime I fell in love with, & me finding out that there was a spinoff book series (100% surprise) that was canon & ran alongside the main story has been so close to my heart.
I just spent about 100$ at Barnes on Friday half manga half comic/graphic novels
It’s **so easy** to spend money there… & it’s always “money well spent” 😂
What are the odds that the 4 barnes and nobles is my local b&n. If that’s the one I believe it is that area actually has 4 nearby. Either that or it looks exactly like the one near my 😂
Edit: that’s is definitely my local b&n. Columbus has a lot of great places to find manga. We’ve got like 4 1/2 barnes and nobles, the bookloft is insane, and we’ve also got the laughing ogre which is a dedicated comic/manga store in UA.

I live in sweden and unfurtunately there aint any bookstores that sells manga… I really hate cuz i would like to go to bookstores and see manga instead of buying them online

- Minimum wage where I live in the US is $7.25 USD / hour

It varies state-by-state. California is $14 USD / hour but also a salary of $50,000 USD / year is NOT a livable income in California it’s so expensive
