I feel you when it comes to trying to finish series I have before buying new ones! I swear i’ve been picking up so many longer series recently so its a pain to finish collecting them, but at the same time if i start other series ill completely forget. 😭

Yeah, the old creepy guys suck, especially when they're staring at me and watching me. So uncomfortable. Luckily, I bring my mom with me so nothing bad has happened yet!!

I love Devil's Candy! The first volume is pretty episodic and follows Pandora (girl on the cover of volume 1) and her learning how to live as a person and a normal student.

I work at barnes and nobles and the reason why there were so many box sets is that people tend to buy in bulk for christmas so at the location I work at we had a dedicated table and wall for all of the box sets we has but it was primarily demon slayer and other very popular stuff

you should read still sick if you haven’t already!!! its a 3 volume yuri manga about two mangakas, and as meta as it is sometimes i absolutely adore it lol….. the art is also really pretty, i’ve been thinking about picking up the physical copies sometime

penguin & house is really good, i like it. its more of a slice of life, the main character is a penguin and i just think its funny and cute

I know everyone hates on dragon ball, but og dragon ball is pretty good. If you ever feel like reading shonen i really recommend og db

Blackguard is really interesting. I know only two people besides me who did read it, it's very underrated, so I was happy when you stopped by:,) If you enjoy sci-fi, you should pick it up. Kodansha should also promote it as a lgbtq manga (because it is), maybe more people would get interested.

Whoa saw a Kuroko's Basketball volume in the video I never see those at my barnes & noble the only time I have seen it in a store is at Books Kinokuniya! Love seeing your manga shopping as it helps me control my manga shopping tbh so I dont wanna keep going out and buying volumes everytime I go out shopping! Love seeing how different other peoples Barnes & Noble are compared to my local ones tbh!

I am actually building up my collection! And I have only started my manga not to long ago! So! I want to ask you what recommendations do you have for manga besides Demon slayer Chainsawman and The promised neverland! Because that’s all I have sadly..But reading manga is so fun!!
That is awesome that you are building your collection! I recommend kaiju no 8 if you want and action series and a sign of affection or the in the clear moonlit dusk if you are looking for a romance series! 🫶

I have a recommendation; if you like fantasy and romance manga, I highly suggest picking up The Ancient Magus Bride. It’s a fantasy romance manga that focuses on the adventures of a young girl as she navigates the challenges of being an apprentice mage.

@@purplefrogYT it really is fantastic. The art is amazing and the story is enchanting (heh). It might take a while to collect because it’s still being written, but as far as I know you can find the first volumes at Barnes & Noble, or online if you cannot find them at your local B&N.

Got dragon ball super volume 17 volume 4 of let this grieving soul retire, assassins creed blade of shao jum and volumes 4,5,6,16,17 and 18 of one piece otw . And on the 1st im ordering one piece volumes 22,23,24 and on the 5th when i get my gst ill be ordering 25,26,27 of one piece and maybe volumes 28,29,30 of one piece.

Hello this is Ryzawa, I'm just gonna comment with this account from now on since I use this one for watching videos usually whilst my other account is for videos with effort put into them.
So many good looking covers, I don't blame you for having a habit of buying off of looks. It's like watching videos just because of their thumbnail but you have to pay to watch it lol.
Also for Viz I assume they don't actually *make* the manga but do more than just publish, like aiding financial support and handling the hiring process for things like editors, cover artists, or even the artist themself since often times manga artists don't do the art as well and struggle to look for counterparts. Basically they fund and structure the manga, at least this is my theory, I don't they have a crafted in-house team like you would have with like a game developer company but basically hire free-lance.

@@purplefrogYT well it's not 100% confirmed but it's what i think it is since usually companies that start as publishers dont usually go much further than that, and if they do get involved it usually turns out like a crunchyroll anime flop lol
just a question, why do manga youtubers never have one piece manga? its really odd considering one piece is the most sold manga of all time.
While I can’t speak for others, it is a really long series for me , and I prefer to collect other series :)

I totally recommend Naruto or Boruto manga! While I watched all the anime, I do continue to read Boruto manga before it is put on anime.
