- We bought a 2018 Volvo VNL 760 to rebuild on the channel. This will be a first for us rebuild a truck this big. Big thanks to Shipping Experts for transporting the Semi. We started to work on the semi by pulling out some of the damage and looking for a cab. We got lucky and found a cab.

Looks like it got laid over and slid down a guard rail or a concrete barrier. Holy cow! This will be a great build to watch. As a retired truck driver, I cringe when I see wrecks like this.

I'm new here but let me say I love what I've seen. Your channel is by far the most diverse than any other. I found you when you started on the Factory5 Cobra then saw your Ford Transit, then a Mustang than a Dodge Rebel pickup and now the Volvo 760. I drove a semi for over 40 years and was also a Master ASC certified mechanic. So for me, your channel is the most interesting. Keep up the good work

no it is not, they have a shell and no idea how to assemble the interior. Between the wiring, airlines, in the dash alone could take them a month to figure out, never mind the rest of the interior.
I would have never picked a Volvo to rebuild. To dang electrical and it’s a unibody cab and sleeper. I would have grabbed a 379 Pete or something with a removable sleeper. They will always have air leaks but give them a E for effort.
Greg Ward Gonna have to disagree with ya, although a lot of parts, it’s pretty much an unbolt and reassemble (after having to find the rest of the parts that’s broken). Not like they have 1000s of random parts just sitting in a pile to assemble.

Last time a buddy or mine put a truck on it's side.. It cost the company $129k just to have it repaired.. This was a Volvo daycab Replaced the cab, plus fuel tank, suspension... Hope you hit the lottery, or get a great deal on parts..

Rusty from The Rusty Cracker channel drives these trucks but also building one as well, also has the same damages as yours he needs a cab shell, he has the 2019 model
I saw a cabover rebuild. They tilted the cab onto a table unhooked everything and rolled the cab away. They had a new cab on a table and rolled it over to the frame. In 6 days it was a new truck.
