    So after 18 months working on this cars body work on and off safe to say I really wanna see the back of the paintwork!
    So today we are painting what I’m hoping will be for the very last time!

    What paint, gun and compressor setup did you use Jason

      I used a 2k paint from a company called Jawel. They do a bundle kind of thing where they give you a total paint once mixed in litres. I also bought some guns from them I believe I got a mix of 1.4mm and 1.8mm. I used the 1.8mm guns for the high build primer and the 1.4mm for the paint. To be honest if I was to do this again I would use a normal paint and not the direct gloss 2k. The 2k stuff is good as doesn’t require lacquer however it’s harder to get a good finish in my opinion. I have found it hasn’t saved me any time and I’d have rather of based then cleared now!

      @@TrackAndBeyond I'm going the 2k route using Mipa OC. The type of painting we are doing we are better going 2k. Base and clear is a nightmare with dust as it can get between coats

      That was the main reason I chose it for this. To be fair I’m just not very good at it 🤣 I’m getting better but it’s an art 🤣
