    For your honey it’s better to use wood, plastic or glass instead of metal. The metal can break down some of the good properties in the honey. Ginseng is great though and taste great in a green tea. I didn’t know that it could help people with ADHD or memory though so this video was great and informative.

    Joy, do you have any ideas for what I can naturally do about grey hairs? I don't want to color my hair, so I have just been letting them grow in and accepting them, but I would like to reverse the ones I already have, or prevent any more from growing in. I am the exact same age as you and I also eat very healthy and taken care of myself. You seem to not have any grey hairs yet.....is there anything in particular that you are doing or using to not get grays? Thank you, in advance. :)

      Do some research about blackstrap molasses... But it may take a few months...

      Grey hairs are a loss of minerals like copper, zinc, iron calcium, selenium and magnesium because they are all needed to make pigment in your hair. You could try a multi but it’s will take some time as hair only grow 1/2 an inch per month, on average. It won’t reverse all your grey hair but it may help. I do have greys, they are just hidden under my bangs. My mom didn’t get many greys till she was in her late 50s. I’m 45 now so I think I’ve got another 10 years before they really start to show. Greys can be very beautiful tho! I say let it flow!

      @@joyoushealth I have not taken a multi vitamin in years. And now that I think about it, the timeframe of my grey hairs appearing, did correlate closely with when I stopped taking vitamins. So great idea. I will start taking them again. Thank you.

      I embraced my hair (which came out white) at an early age and started growing it out in my forties…did a white highlights thing for a short while until it grew out and I realized it was all white! Now in my early sixties and still love it, and haven’t used dye in almost 20 years. Get so many compliments. My daughter, however, is in her thirties (and not embracing the greys yet) and uses a natural henna she gets at the health food store and it looks beautiful. You can also buy them online, I believe. I love that I went natural as I, too, do not like putting anything not from nature in/on my body. Best of luck to you! ✌🏼

    Aren't you actually pasteurizing those ingredients when you put them into boiling hot water? In other words, killing off the beneficial active enzymes due to heat sensitivity.

    • @joyoushealth
      @joyoushealth  ปีที่แล้ว

      Always let the water sit for a minute before adding raw honey. That part was not included for sake of time (editing) however it’s a very valid point. Pasteurization is exposing a continual high temperature to an ingredient so even if you added it when the water was very hot you will still maintain some beneficial enzymes as it doesn’t not kill everything so quick. That being said, I always let cool a little.
