This gives me faith that there will always be those who can fight the robot uprising. Seriously though the ai in this game is weird. The difficulty spikes, that is. On console it's really hard to micro. Hard AI is easy to beat but I struggle after that.
As I play mostly against AI, I have to say HRE is the most annoying AI to deal with no matter what civilization you play with, so it would be interesting to see how to play against it. It is also obvious HRE is the best AI if you watched the series Beasty posted a while back featuring battles with AI against AI.
Yesterday I finally 1v2'd two Absurd AI-s without cheese. I couldn't be happier. I just wanted to share guys. Beasty was a great motivation that beating AI-s are actually a good challenge. But I would never do a 1v3.
I’m plat/diamond and can beat ridiculous pretty easy. I’m close but still lose to outrageaous. And not even close to beating absurd. If I had to guess absurd ai is probably similar to conq 1 players?
@@brycehammerton4542 Yeah to this day I cant beat an absurd AI 1v1 on dry arabia, my best was one below it (think thats ridiculous?). I dont think I can
I feel like no matter what level of AI you play it will always feel like playing more players instead of better players. Eg this felt like playing 2 gold players. They always have more resources together but they don't know how to kill you except in the early game. Just spamming units and attacking at random areas with poor micro. I wish there was a actual pro AI that was smarter instead of using cheat codes to beat you
im barely diamond in team game, far from diamond in solo, yet, it is not hard for me to beat absurd ai 1v1. I dont know why people make a big deal out of it.
I liked ur video but u need to switch your keyboard to linear switches or use some noise cancelling software like nvidia broadcast. The keyboard is very annoying

Try to win against Absurd with no sacred site/wonder victory. Just Landmark victory, thats the scariest way to go against an AI
